Phillip Island Penguins Tour with Wine and Lunch from Melbourne
Rod was a wonderful guide: personable and well-informed. The tour was very well organised. The boutique-winery had excellent wines (creative and innovative methods of production) and our meal was plentiful as well as delicious.

Phillip Island Penguins Tour with Wine and Lunch from Melbourne
I had the most enjoyable tour out of the 4 local tours in my one week in Melbourne. I came with my father and daughter. When the mini van came to pick us at our meeting point, we were so surprised that the tour was just for the 3 of us! It was more personalized and comfortable and I did not pay more than the other tours. This is Local Tours agency. The winery lunch was the best lunch I had in this trip. No rush. Wonderful food with lovely wine. The oceans were magnificent and we came at the right time with no crowds. The weather was perfect too. We did a little bit of shopping in the little town . The little penguins came in at 815pm, waddling in in groups and walking to their shoe box like houses. So cute and adorable and mighty strong creatures to withstand the strong waves! I would like especially to thank Rod our tour guide and driver. He was a music and drama teacher before and that might have make him a different guide than the rest. He bothered to understand the people. So he tried to create topics that were interesting to each individual and we enjoyed his company. He had good knowledge of the places we visited too. Lastly, my daughter left her sling bag in his van and we only realised it the next morning. We contacted Rod and he assisted us immediately. It will be couriered back to Singapore. Thank you very much. Some photos attached.
