Phuket Bird Park
With over 1,000 birds including more than 100 different species ranging from colorful parrots and hornbills to giant ostrich and peacock, Phuket Bird Park offers a comprehensive introduction to Thailand’s exotic birdlife. Visitors can see the birds show off their natural skills during a live show and feed them under supervision from the staff.

Visitors to Phuket Bird Park can enjoy unlimited access to the exhibition areas, including interactive zones where it’s possible to feed the birds while they perch on your hand or shoulder. Regular bird shows present the many different species, including hornbills, macaws, eagles, and barn owls, offering the chance to see the birds in flight and learn more about their individual characteristics.

How to Get to There
The Phuket Bird Park is located in the Chalong area, close to Wat Chalong temple and about a 20-minute drive west of Phuket Town. There is no public transport to the attraction, but it’s easily reached by taxi or tuk-tuk.

The park is open daily, and it’s worth timing your visit for one of the shows, held three times a day (typically at 10:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm). The exhibition areas are all outdoors, so plan an early morning or late-afternoon visit if you want to avoid the midday heat.

Near the Phuket Bird Park, Phuket Zoo is home to a variety of animals including tigers, elephants, and crocodiles, while Phuket Aquarium offers a glimpse into Thailand’s underwater world, with sharks, sea turtles, and schools of tropical fish.
