The lunch was delicious and was at a nice restaurant with a great view. There was a lot of driving but it was well worth it!"

He also took some brilliant pictures for us. We were the only family on the tour, so we had a private tour for a good price. I would definitely recommend."

"What a great night. Our guides Nathan and Sergio were informative, funny, and knowledgeable about the animals we saw. I have no idea how they were able to spot these animals but it was awesome. We saw many different types of frogs, a snake, deer, insects, bats, a sleeping bird, and a Sloth. What a memorable night. If you go and they suggest you rent their boots, do it. The trails we were on were swampy and there were times it felt like your feet were going to get stuck in the mud."

"Andrew was an exceptional guide. We were an international group of 8 people and he really took us under his wing, threw great jokes, spoke perfect English and told really informational facts about the animals and plants. We saw so many animals. It almost seemed like the other guides just followed Andrew, as he was the best at spotting animals up in the trees and in the bushes. There is no point in going to the park without a guide, as it is pretty much impossible to see anything without the telescopes that the guides have. I absolutely have nothing bad to say about this tour."

"Our guides were extremely friendly and helpful. We road into a the rainforest, crossed a little stream and ended up at a river. We didn't swim in it because it was raining and the water was rushing a bit but overall the entire trip was beautiful. Also ended up getting some lunch with the tour at the end and it was delicious."

"Although it was pouring rain and my friend and I were exhausted from a long day of travel and not in the best spirits, our guide Aron was very kind. He was very knowledgeable and found lots of snakes, bugs, frogs and lizards for us. He also is a great photographer and videographer! Just beware that while Viator says this takes place inside the national park, it does not take place there but outside the park like other tours that are priced lower."

"We were on a cruise and booked this tour independently of the ship. We were able to get picked up at the dock and they were very accommodating. The tour had only 6 people and two very informative local guides who spoke English well and knew a lot about the mangrove vegetation and animals. We spent over 2 hours going leisurely through the mangroves and saw many monkeys, birds, iguanas, snakes and a small crocodile. Paddling was very easy and we were able to go into some of the smaller channels which the boat tours could not get to and we could go slower and get closer to the animals. The guides were great about finding the animals and giving informative details on them. At the end of the tour we stopped back at the tour office where they served a local lunch of rice beans and chicken. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Time on the bus only about 15-20 minutes each way. At our request, they dropped us off back in downtown Quepos where we could walk back to the ship. Use plenty of sunscreen, where a hat and while the bugs didn't seem bad, apply bug spray also. This"
