What people are saying about Walking Tours in Quepos

star-5
Night Jungle Tour (Rainmaker Park)
"It was pouring heavily before our night jungle tour began -- there was a chance that the tour would be rescheduled, but then the rain stopped. We are a family of 5. Our tour guide was Fabio -- he is soft spoken, but excellent! It was muddy around the lagoon, and dark inside the jungle. But the paths were clearly identifiable, and Fabio did a fabulous job spotting different types of frogs (including the red eyed tree frog), lizards, bats, etc. The highlight, of course, were the snakes we saw, mainly a medium sized Fer-de-lance, one of the most poisonous snakes in the world! The dinner was excellent as well! Overall, we highly recommend this tour."..."

He also took pictures and video that he shared with us after the tour. If you visit Manuel Antonio, an early morning tour with Edwin is a must-do! Pura Vida!"..."

Horseback Riding from Manuel Antonio
"It was a very nice horse-ride through the jungle. It's not for anyone that wants active horse-riding, but if you like a leisurely pace, this is it. The water and falls at the turnaround point was very refreshing. Wear water shoes to get the most out of it. Also our guide was very friendly."..."

Damas Island Mangrove Kayaking Tour from Manuel Antonio
"We were on a cruise and booked this tour independently of the ship. We were able to get picked up at the dock and they were very accommodating. The tour had only 6 people and two very informative local guides who spoke English well and knew a lot about the mangrove vegetation and animals. We spent over 2 hours going leisurely through the mangroves and saw many monkeys, birds, iguanas, snakes and a small crocodile. Paddling was very easy and we were able to go into some of the smaller channels which the boat tours could not get to and we could go slower and get closer to the animals. The guides were great about finding the animals and giving informative details on them. At the end of the tour we stopped back at the tour office where they served a local lunch of rice beans and chicken. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Time on the bus only about 15-20 minutes each way. At our request, they dropped us off back in downtown Quepos where we could walk back to the ship. Use plenty of sunscreen, where a hat and while the bugs didn't seem bad, apply bug spray also. This"..."

"We had a really enjoyable morning with Luis Roberto as our guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. We would have missed most of the animals we saw without Luis spotting them for us. "At first I was a bit dissappointed that the tour did not take place in the national park, but maybe I misunderstood. That being said, the guide (Mop) was great. Manuel Antonio Park Private Nature Guided Tour Experience
"Fantastic tour. Jeremy was brilliant and knew loads about the animals. He was great with our kids too. Book a guide as you really do see so much more! The guides all work together as well and tell each other where to spot animals. We managed to see a baby sloth and it’s mummy. Really great experience. We had two young kids and they found it quite hard work, but totally worth it. It is possible to take a stroller but worth knowing there are some bits which are very hard to push on."..."
