"This was fun, we took off from the boat which you reach by banana boat hauled by a Jet-Ski. It was like being on a swing in the air that doesn't really move. You get great views of MA from this though."

"At the beginning of our tour, we were told it would be just us (my partner and I) for the excursion. We like meeting other people on excursions so we were a little disappointed but we had an awesome time with our guide! Definitely apply and reapply sunscreen! We kayaked in the open water, then spent some time on the beach, and had pineapple for a snack before kayaking back. Once we were back we had a phenomenal lunch that had already been prepared for us. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!"

Markus takes very good care of his horses and it shows. If you want to ride horses near Quepos, chose Markus and Hacienda Mil Bellazas."

"My husband and I had a fantastic time! With plenty of thrill to go around, we never felt unsafe, even when one of us got knocked off the boat. The guides are experienced, knowledgeable, and fun. They make sure you are safe and have a great time. Make sure you ask the to go “surfing”! The one thing that I didn’t like - they had us sit inside of the boat often instead of the edges. I’m assuming it was to minimize the risk of us falling out but it also limited our ability to paddle and it was quite uncomfortable at times. Given we were a bit more experienced than the typical tourist I wish they were not as risk averse, but I totally get it. Safety first. The river was amazing and we loved going into the rapids right after the put in spot. No need to paddle for a long time to find the thrill. Food afterwards was amazing too. Overall an incredible experience and I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try class III/IV rapids!"

"Great tour! Great guides. The Sloths are amazing. We saw one through a telescope way up on a very tall tree. As well, I saw an army of aunts taking leaves along a path... Monkeys, birds, a beautiful beach - this tour offers a great way to see the park."

"My husband and I enjoyed our cooking class with our guide Juan and chef Clara. Juan first showed us the herb and medicinal garden. We learned many interesting facts of these plants. Then we proceeded to the outdoor kitchen where we all helped prepare a delicious Costa Rican tradicional meal. The dessert was very delicious!"

"WOW !! The chocolate tour was led by Gregory and assisted by Grace. They were fantastic. We were only in an area of maybe 1k sqmt or 11K sqft, and we learned about cacao (base for chocolate), coffee and sugar cane. And, we were able to taste all of those, with seemingly no end. In addition, we learned about several other plants that grow in Costa Rica, including the easy-to-grow lapiz plant. You should definitely ask for Gregory !! The Manuel Antonio Park Tour was led by Christian, another amazing tour guide. We were picked up at our hotel, picked up Gregory and then headed to the Park. We learned so much and had several great National Geographic-worthy photos and video with the aid of Christian's spotting scope. Among other things, we were able to take home video of a baby sloth clinging to her mom, moving around a bit and yawning the morning away; videos and photos of hummingbirds, monkeys and number other creatures. We didn't stay long at the beaches, but they alone are worth the entrance fee to the park, already included in the price of the tour."
