"My wife and I took the half day (about 4 hours total) tour with Justine. She met us a bit before the scheduled pick up time which was great because we were able to hit the road and make our way down to the first winery. Justine was very personable and knowledgeable about the vinoculture in the Rhone Valley and shared a lot of really interesting information throughout the tour. We visited two wineries and had 5-6 tastes at each. Both wineries were very good but the first winery - Domaine de Boisseyt - was exceptional, especially their Saint Joseph wine. All in all, I highly recommend this tour if you want to get an introduction to the Northern Rhone region and only want to invest a few hours of your time while in Lyon."

"First...why this was a 5-star tour...This tour, run by Tasty Lyon, was wonderful! Our guide, Yann, was personable, very informative and lots of fun! He was the perfect mix of being with us to show us everything and stepping aside to let us explore on our own. And he took us to great stops. Along with our stops at Oingt, a lovely winery, and Perouges, we had lunch at a wonderful little restaurant, La Feuillee, where we all chatted like gold friends! It was a great day and we returned feeling full, happy, and loving the region just a little bit more! Now...about Viator...we did have an issue, where Viator booked our tour for one date, but booked it for the Tasty Lyon guides for the next date. When our guide didn't arrive on the date we had on our confirmation, we contacted Tasty Lyon, and they noted the disparity, but were more than accommodating in changing our tour date to one that worked best for all of us. Word of advice...confirm with the Tour Operator, not Viator before your planned excursion, particularly if you have a very booked vacation calendar."
