Shore Excursion: West Bay Beach Round Trip Shuttle Bus

Myron was absolutely charming and was a great guide. The snorkling at the reef at West Bay Beach far exceeded our expectations. We could not have found our spot without Myron’s guidance. We were swimming right along side people who had paid $$ to get to the same spot, and we just waded out! We would definitely be repeat customers.

“Zip n dip” Finding the booth is super easy from port. If you’re not zip lining, book your excursion separately or else you’ll sit and wait for hours for the zippers to get done before going to the beach. The animals were adorable, zip lining was a blast, and the beach was beautiful. Denry was our driver and he was friendly and fantastic! The vans were clean and cool!! A+ excursion.

We loved this excursion so much. Victor Bodden’s animals are the best! They are definitely well taken care of, clean and treated as if they were their own children. We left with happy hearts! My husband and daughter had a blast with the zip lining. They were wore out when they were finished, lol. The beach experience was amazing too! Nothing like the beaches at West Bay in Honduras. Crystal clear waters and perfect piña coladas never disappoint! Thank you for an awesome experience!

It was a nice relaxing day trip. Would do it again

Glass Bottom Boat Tour and West Bay Beach

We really enjoyed the day trip. Edgar was very friendly and helpful and the boat ride was great. We saw all kinds of fish, some divers and a sea turtle. The beach area was really nice as well.

Best experience! Juan Carlos was our guide and made sure we had a wonderful time in Roatan! The sloth/monkey tour was perfect. The beach at West Bay was beautiful! My kids were so happy and want to do this again!

The atvs were so much fun & the guides were very accommodating & gave excellent instructions. The zipline activity was exciting and the sites were great. The team was very helpful & made sure everyone in my party was safe. The guide for the animal farm was excellent as well

We had an awesome experience in the island. All the experience is 10 of 10. The animal encounter was really nice and the beach break was awesome too. If you have the opportunity to go to Roatan by cruise, make sure to do this activity.

Discover Private Scuba Diving in West Bay Beach

This was the first time my wife and I have scuba dived. Our trainer was Bastion. He is professional, friendly, and informative. Also, West Bay Divers is a fully equipped dive shop and I would recommend this for a great experience. Mike B.

Loved the sloth. So much fun holding them. They are adorable. Also enjoyed the macaws and the money sitting on our heads. Love being in touch with nature. Our driver George was excellent. He gave us info on the island. He was very friendly and professional.

We had a blast! Joe (Giovanni) was the best! He took extra time and care to make sure our group had a great experience! He even walked our family down the beach to a restaurant he knew had great food! The monkeys, sloths, and macaws were the highlight of our cruise for our teens! All around wonderful experience!

Things to Know Before You Go

West Bay Beach can get very crowded, so arrive early to stake out a space in the sand.
Don’t forget to pack a bathing suit, a beach towel, and reef-safe sun protection. You may also want to bring an umbrella for shade, if you’re not planning to use a local resort’s facilities.
There is no fee to access West Bay Beach.
Visitors can rent snorkeling equipment at beachside outfitters.

West Bay Beach is on the west coast of Roatan. To reach the beach from West End Village, you can take a car or water taxi, both of which take about 10 minutes. The beach is roughly a 30-minute drive from Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport and the Port of Roatan cruise ship terminal.
