"This is a great way to make a quick trip from Belize to Tikal and back to Belize in one day. The tour operations is a well oiled machine and everything went smoothly. Due to heat and time limits at Tikal, while enroute do not accept the stop on the way for breakfast and minimize the (mandatory?) bathroom/driver rest stop. Our driver and tour guide had a coffee and some food at our bathroom stop. Only to arrive later and hot due to mid-day sun. Just note there is a hard time to leave Tikal, 3:00 pm due to how the tickets are set up. If you want to stay after 3:00 you must purchase another 'sunset' ticket. So, any delay starting Tikal tour will reduce your time to see all expansive complex. Also on the way back we did not have a restroom stop and the driver drove faster and less smoothly. Note all the tour guides and companies work together so we picked up two extra people to transport back to Belize. This incurred a 30+ minute delay leaving Tikal and a 15+ minute at the boarder, since they did not have a 'day pass' and were entering Belize from Guatemala for the first time. Also, bring extra water (3+ liters) or be prepared to purchase water. Tikal tour is awesome and do climb as many temples as possible the view is spectacular. We saw some spider monkeys and toucans. Included lunch was ok."

"There was an abundance amount of rain overnight and I received a text in the morning that the cave tubing was canceled due to safety. We did the Barton Creek cave canoeing instead. Demus was our tour guide and was very patient with my 3 boys. He gave great facts during the tour. There was lots of improvising that day because of Mother Nature, but it worked out in the end. Give a big shout out to the 2 guides that helped our family zip lining. We had so much fun! Thank you for sharing your mosquito repellent with my husband."

"The road was a little bumpy but well worth seeing the Rio On Pools and Big River Falls. We were fortunate that we had a private tour but area is out a bit and not a lot of vans. Well worth the cost to do this."

"We had a lovely tour with Elio at Caracol. The ride to the park was long and bumpy as the road is under construction, but the benefit was that we had nearly the whole park to ourselves. The views and history are remarkable, the food was delicious, and elio is full of knowledge about Mayan and Belizean history and culture"

"Our guide, Marcus, was great. His knowledge of the jungle, the cave, and Mayan culture really added to the experience. After completing ATM we wanted more of a challenge, and Crystal Cave fit the bill. A totally different experience than ATM, this cave was much more difficult to explore, but the rock formations inside were more rewarding. I am 6' 2", 185lb, and parts of this cave were very tight to fit through. I would NOT suggest this if you push past 250lb. The walk through the jungle was much more scenic than the walk to ATM, the trail is less trodden, and wildlife was more abundant. You can also take pictures inside this cave, unlike ATM. The lunch afterward was great, trust me, you will work up an appetite. We were both covered in mud so the final stop at the Blue Holde was needed. The water was refreshing and made for a great 30 min break."

"We had a wonderful day caving and swimming the Crystal Cave! Our guide, Miguel, was patient, friendly, and made sure we had a great time. He picked us up promptly at 7AM, and we had a quick trip out to the start of the hike. We hiked up (fairly steep), and then began our descent into Crystal Cave. It is straight up climbing/bouldering - no ropes, no handrails, nothing. We are both very active and adventurous and loved it, but if you must be sure-footed and have endurance to enjoy this cave experience. About 2 hours in, he asked if we wanted to stop or go deeper in the cave. Of course we went deeper, and saw Wonderland, a beautiful secluded spot with crystals and formations all over. In total, we were in the cave for 3 hours, and it was quite strenuous. Miguel did a fantastic job of showing us how to climb up tricky 10+ft walls, and warned us when a piece of quartz was especially slippery. We then hiked back down, swam in the Blue Hole, and then had a quick lunch before heading back to our hotel. We got back at around 3PM. We would do again 100%!"

"Gliss was our tour guide. He was fantastic. One of the best guides ever. He has a great sense of humor. He is from the area and has been doing cave tours for most of his life. He loves what he does and has an incredible knowledge of the caves in the area, Mayan culture, geology, hydrology, the local area, birds, plants and animals in the area. We had an excellent experience. The ATM cave is a highlight of our experience in Belize. Great history, the geologic formations, getting wet in the river and the cave, and taking the mind back to the Mayan customs at the time, were all part of a wonderful day!
