"Eric was an excellent guide for the half day hike! The hike was off the beaten track, medium difficulty, and exactly what my husband and I were looking for- beautiful lookouts, deep in the forest but there are no signs/directions. Eric plans the hikes in advance, and was very helpful in showing us proper technique/ making sure we didn't fall. Eric was very accommodating, ie: picked up my husband and I from our hostel, made sure we had enough water and snacks, set a good pace, let us have several breaks, ate lunch at a delicious spot. He was very knowledgeable about the surroundings, ie: the landscape, the vegetation, the different cities, pointing out hills/volcanoes, the history of the area. And he was very friendly, ie: never rushed us, asked us questions, easy to make conversation, friendly and kind. I would definitely consider hiking with Eric again!"

"That’s ‘must have’ experience in Costa Rica, just outstanding and challenging in the same time. It’s totally fine for inexperienced people, but you need to be in a good shape, great workout for entire body. Guides were so great, friendly, funny and helpful. Breakfast and lunch are so good. "Absolutely amazing hiking! We were promptly picked up from our hotel at 6 am. We had a nice Costa Rican breakfast on our way to the trailhead. We arrived at the trailhead after about 2 hours. The hiking was through muddy fields and crossing many streams. We went to the Roca Verde first and then to Catarata Germelas and Catarata Celestial. There were over 500 steps on the way to Catarata Germelas and Celestial. Also, the last section of the Celestial must be descended using a rope to get to the bottom of the waterfall. We had lunch at the Catarata Celestial before returning to the car. The hiking was about 6.3 miles with 1220 feet elevation gain. All 3 waterfalls were absolutely beautiful."

"Overall we enjoyed our time during this excursion. The day before our trip the tour company reached out to us to let us know that due to rain in the area, Rio fe Celeste will be a chocolate color. So we did not go to the Arenal Volcano area. However they were able to take us another park with two waterfalls next to each other. Our tour started when the tour guide, Mr. Sunshine, picked us up at the hotel. Mr. Sunshine was friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. We stopped at a local coffee shop for coffee and great views. We then made our way to our first stop, La Paz Waterfall. On the way to the waterfall you make some pit stops for photos. The walk to the waterfall is very light. I would recommend bringing water shoes as once you arrive to the waterfall it can be slippery. The water was cold but definitely worth a dip. After the waterfall we stopped at the Hot Springs which is basically two Jacuzzis and a pool. This is where you will also have a delicious lunch. after your dip, the tour guide will drop you off at the pick up location."
