Minca is a small village located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta at 700m above sea level, populated by coffee, cocoa and honey producers. Located in one of the richest environments or habitat of Colombia. It has several rivers that run through its territory, full of waterfalls and cold water coming down from the mountains, so we invite you to enjoy unique landscapes in a charming place.

Hike to Tayrona National Park's Cabo San Juan Beach with a local guide with this tour, which includes round-trip transportation from Santa Marta, Taganga, Rodadero, Pozos Colorados, and Bello Horizonte. Set sail for Tayrona aboard a 17-meter (56-foot) yacht with this excursion. Your bilingual captain, Luis, will take you and a small group of up to 25 passengers to the coastal park. Once in the park, you will have time to swim, snorkel, sunbathe, or hang out on the beach, and return to Santa Marta in the late afternoon.

We will motor up wind to Bahia Concha in Tayrona Park passing at a distance by Taganga, Playa Grande, Aguja Island. At Bahia Concha we`ll anchor. Our auxiliary boat will take you to the beach or you can swim to it. You can snorkel, SUP board & sunbathe. WATER ACTIVITIES ONLY IN DESIGNATED AREAS. Lunch and 1 drink will be provided per person ON BOARD approximately 1 hour after arrival. 3:30pm everyone should be on board again to sail back wind permitting. Back at Marina by 5pm where you can enjoy the Sunset. If weather restrictions by maritime authorities we visit nearby bays. NO REFUND if Maritime Authorities restrict navigation to Tayrona Park. Once you enter the Tayrona Park, you can hike in the foothills near Playa Cañaveral, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. After driving for about an hour through magnificent scenery and breathtaking views we arrive at Minca. Once there, we will start our hike to Marinka Waterfalls. Huge trees, ageless rocky creeks, and birds chirping make the hike to the waterfalls stunningly pleasant and enjoyable. After hiking for about one hour we arrive at Marinka Waterfalls, and it is time to relax and enjoy the Sierra Nevada refreshing waters. We can stay here for an hour and a half or less, depending on your preferences. Once you decided to return, we will hike through the same road back to Minca, where the driver will be waiting for us to take you to your hotel. This is just the perfect option for those who wish to add an experience to their travel to Santa Marta.
