Lotte World
The Basics
Lotte World welcomes millions of visitors each year, making it one of the most popular family attractions in the Seoul area. A basic admission ticket grants visitors access to the park and all its rides and attractions, while a Universal Pass includes the on-site Folk Museum as well, where relics from Korea’s 5,000-year history are on display.
Theme park enthusiasts can combine a visit to Lotte World with a stop at Seoul’s other famous amusement park, Everland, into a single day trip. Those pressed for time can choose to visit the theme park as part of a full-day tour of Seoul, with stops at other notable attractions such as the Han River, Namsan Tower, and a local ginseng factory.

How to Get There
Lotte World is easy to get to via public transportation. Take the Seoul Subway (line 2 or 8) to Jamsil Station and leave through gate 4; the park is directly connected to the station. Several Green, Blue, Express, and Airport bus lines also stop nearby.

Lotte World is open daily throughout the year, and since most of it is indoors, it makes an excellent option during inclement weather. Those who don’t plan to spend much time in the park should visit after 4pm, when admission is cheaper.
