Daehangno is very easy to reach via by public transportation. Take Line 4 of the Seoul Subway to Hyehwa Station and leave through Exit 2.

When to Get There
Things really heat up in this district in the evening hours when most venues host performances. During the early summer months, Daehangno hosts the Seoul Theater Festival, with the Seoul Performing Arts Festival following in autumn. Both events stage dozens of performances, mostly in Korean but occasionally in English as well.
Things to Do in Daehangno
Live music isn’t the only draw to this trendy Seoul neighborhood. If you’re in the area on a Sunday, do some shopping at the Daehangno Philippine Market. The Lock Museum, located just northeast of Hyehwa Station, displays antique keys, locks, and furniture from around the globe, while nearby Namsan Park is one of the best places around for stellar views of Seoul.
