The TreeTop Walk connects the two highest points within the MacRitchie forest: Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang. The narrow bridge walkway can support 30 walkers at a time, but foot traffic is one-way, so once you begin, you have to finish. The walkway allows visitors to walk through the park without disturbing the flora and fauna in the forest below. Most travelers visit independently, and combine the walk with other forest hikes.

Bring sunscreen, insect repellant, and plenty of water.
Color-coded signs in English indicate trail length and difficulty, making it easy to navigate the park even for first timers.
If you get hungry, there's a cafe inside the visitor's center, as well as restrooms and a place to pick up more information on the park.
Many macaque monkeys live in the forest and park. Visitors should not feed or tease them, and trash should be disposed of properly to avoid attracting them.
The best way to get to the park is by MRT. Take the Circle Line to Caldecott MRT; from there it’s a 10-minute walk. The walkway is 2.7 miles (4.5 kilometers) from the MacRitchie Reservoir Park entrance, and 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometers) from the parking lot at Venus Drive. Therefore, visitors should come prepared for a few hours of walking.
The walkway is popular among locals, so it can get crowded Saturday and Sunday. It’s usually closed Monday unless it’s a public holiday. Opening hours are 8:30am to 5pm. Singapore is a very hot and humid country, so travelers who find the heat uncomfortable may want to avoid doing this walk in the middle of the day.
The MacRitchie Reservoir Park is connected to the part of the forest where the walkway is located. The MacRitchie Reservoir is the oldest reservoir in Singapore, and there are many walking and hiking trails throughout the surrounding park, as well as kayaking, bird watching, and occasional events at the MacRitchie Bandstand.
