The National Museum of Singapore offers an excellent introduction to the history and culture of the city state. Choose between an admission ticket to permanent galleries; a pass for rotating temporary exhibitions; or a discounted combo ticket that unlocks the entire museum. Self-guided audio tours tend to stop here. Don’t leave the museum without taking a look up at the dome, which is made from 3,000 zinc fish-scale tiles and stained-glass panels.
