"Our surfing excursion was all on our list of things to try in Costa Rica. Our guide Miguel, was very patient and explained things very well. We booked the 10 am lesson and he was able to get us all up on the surf boards even though it was our first time trying to surf. We will definitely try it again."

"The guide we had on the nature hike and waterfall was excellent. We saw mud and hot springs around the volcano and got to swim in a secluded waterfall. Water was very cold but very therapeutic. We had a lunch buffet at the restaurant in the park and then went to the hot spring pools for more therapy. Wonderful Day!"

"Almond Sousa, our tour guide, was an absolute gem! He knew everything from the name of the volcanoes to the names of each animal we saw. When we were driving and he saw some monkeys in the trees he stopped and let us out so we could take pictures. He made sure our beds were taken care of. And the restaurant and souvenir shop he took us too were amazing! Everyone was friendly and he knew everyone as well!"

"We had an excellent time on this tour. Our guide Carlos picked us up exactly on time, at 6(!), because it's a ~4 hour drive to Monteverde. Along the way we stopped for a very tasty traditional breakfast. Be prepared for some bumps, because the road to Monteverde, especially as you get close, is very bad, it's basically just a chain of potholes! This tour includes 3 guided tours within the Selvatura Park which is in Monteverde. Butterflies, Reptiles, and the Nature Walk with the 8 hanging bridges. It was a rare sunny day when we went, but it was still ~10degF cooler than the plains. The nature walk with the hanging bridges was the most fun, and we had an excellent guide who knew a lot about the plants, trees and birds. We didn't see any animals. The butterflies and reptiles exhibits were also very informative. The guides are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. On the drive back we stopped for another excellent meal, a late lunch of traditional Costa Rican food. All in all a great day! It's a long day, but mostly because the drive there and back takes ~ 8 hours. Well worth the time! 5 stars!!"

"Sosa was the most amazing guide for us!!! We got to see so many sloths, tree frogs, vipers, and more!!! Everyone wanted us to see the animals so they all helped us get the best experience when finding them! The hiking trail was beautiful and we then got an amazing Costa Rican lunch! After we went to a swimming area which was beautiful! Sosa made this the best day for me and my family! His 20 years of experience paid off!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"
