Spend the evening exploring the historic streets of Colonial Williamsburg on a candlelit guided ghost tour. The ghost tour reveals a lesser-known side of the historic streets and takes you to parts of the town most tourists wouldn’t be comfortable visiting on their own. Along the way, a guide entertains the group with family-friendly stories and local legends.

Kayak from James City County Marina on calm water, Powhatan Creek and Back River, to Jamestown Island, known as the birthplace of America with the first successful English settlement in America dating back to 1607. This trip offers stunning views with lush marsh grasses, bald eagles and spectacular cypress trees. You can get a feel for what the land looked like when this area was first settled in 1607 by the Virginia Company. The tour makes two stops behind Jamestown Island to discuss and admire the fauna and flora as well as discuss the history of the Jamestown Settlement, archeologic discoveries including the Fourth Church tower that is the only above-ground 17th-century structure still standing in Jamestown, and the Powhatan Nation that had earlier used Jamestown Island as hunting land.
