This tour is a small-group tour led by a guide who was born and raised at the foot of Mt. Fuji. Depending on the participants' preferences and physical condition, we will ride high-performance e-bikes that are less tiring and explore the spots around the lake. Unlike typical group tours where you just visit tourist spots, our tour is designed for the guide to provide detailed explanations of the history and background of each spot, so that participants can feel and experience the local culture and environment at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

While many people climb up and down Mount Fuji, fewer people bike down it. Your vehicle support will drive you to the highest point that vehicles are allowed. Then, choose between the slower scenic route or the exhilarating fast descent. On either route you’ll enjoy the magnificent panoramic view as you cycle down through forests and farmland.

Hike a mountain trail with fantastic views of Mt Fuji and the lake below. The trail winds past patches of wildflowers and through groves of magnificent white beech trees, red pine and cypress. Hydrangeas along the course are decked with purple and pink blossoms in summer. After the hike, you'll bike around the lake to picturesque country roads relatively few tourists ever see. Stops include Japan's oldest shrine dedicated to Mt Fuji, a beautiful 400-year-old crimson structure in an evergreen grove. You'll also visit a lakeside flower park where the iconic mountain can be seen with colorful blooms in the foreground. The cycling route offers outstanding seasonal attractions, including cherry and plum blossoms in spring and colorful maple and ginko leaves in fall.
