Karl Marriott

Karl Marriott is Viator’s VP of Global Operations, responsible for building and managing Viator’s global customer operations team into the world-class setup that it is today. With more than 30 years of experience in operations within the travel industry, and having spent the better part of a decade working with Tripadvisor, Karl’s knowledge and expertise have made a major impact across all Tripadvisor brands, including Viator.

Prior to Tripadvisor, Karl spent 10 years with Expedia as the Global VP of Operations and was responsible for building and managing all of their European Operations before managing Hotels.com and Expedia’s Affiliate Network Operations globally. Karl has held a number of senior positions within the travel industry such as Travelocity VP of EMEA and APAC operations and provided consultancy support to brands such as Virgin Holidays.

Karl is based in Oxford where he lives with his wife Elaine and their two children, Aaron and Isabel.
