Kate Forrestall

Kate Forrestall is Viator’s Chief People Officer. Kate joined Viator in the spring of 2016 and has worked for Tripadvisor since 2008 in a variety of roles, including building and leading the talent acquisition team and, most recently, serving as the Vice President of People Operations for the B2C team, Finance, Legal, Cruise, and Viator. During her time at Tripadvisor as an HR Business Partner, Kate has worked with nearly every global business unit including Engineering, Marketing, and TheFork [LaFourchette].

Kate also served as the Senior Manager for Global Talent Acquisition Programs at Forrester Research. Prior to joining the tech sector, Kate focused on the nonprofit world in which she developed and led programs for Boys and Girls Clubs of America and The Museum of Science, Boston.

In her free time, Kate focuses on Arts and Education and has held nonprofit Board of Director positions for her local community theater and parent/teacher organization.

Kate holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and an Ed.M from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education where she concentrated in Policy and Management.
