  • All diving activities permit adults aged 16 years and over.
  • Nearest airports: Fly into Proserpine airport also known as Whitsunday Coast Airport (40 miles from Airlie Beach) or fly into Hamilton Island Airport
  • Please bring swimsuit, towel, protective clothing from the sun including a hat and sunblock, light jacket or sweater during the cooler months, money or credit card for optional purchases, your camera and sense of fun!

    I booked a cruise to Geat Barrier Reef for 18/1/2023 . Unfortunatelly , this trip has to be cancled and resheduled twice due to weather . That was reasonable for safety reason. However, we were not informed that cruise was cancled. we went to Marine with two young kids in two early mornings in a row ,then staff told us cruise is cancled. The worse part is it takes me such an effort to get refund . I am still dealing with Viator re refund

    One of the best days of our holiday! We loved the crew with Cruise Witsunday who were all fabulous. My girls did a beginner snorkelling course and dive as well as did the add on helicopter ride over the reef. We will be back, thank you Cruise Witsundays.

    Seeing the reef and all the fish was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone travelling to the Whitsundays. Only thing I could say against it was the photos they take of you snorkelling is expensive to buy. $25 for one photo, and it’s just sending an email of it that’s it. Should be cheaper. Other than that, fantastic experience.

    Great day from start to finish. Well organised and very safe. Staff we very friendly. Tea and coffee provided throughout the day, with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea also provided at very good quality and plenty of it. Only 4 hrs on the actual reef pontoon, so it did feel a little rushed if you want to experience the semi submersible, have lunch and snorkel allowing time for your food to digest before going into the water. Stinger suits, masks, snorkels and lifejackets are all provided and good quality. We had very good visibility on the day we went for the snorkel with many different varieties of coral and fish to view. We were lucky enough to see a turtle at close proximity. Semi submersible could do with the windows cleaning as difficult to see through and not that great a variety of fish on the day we went but great for those who don't want to go in the water. Underwater observation area was also quiet with little fish activity but good view out onto the reef. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend to others

    This is a bucket list item! Everything was amazing, there is so many choices of things to do. We left from Airlie Beach port. My partner and I just chose to snorkel most of the day. But you can opt to dive, You spend 3hours travelling out to the reef, 4 hours at the reef and 3 hours home. It’s ample amount of time to have heaps of fun. The food on board was great lots of options but get in quick! The scenery out there is unreal. Underwater diver takes professional photos for purchase. It was such a relaxing fun day.

    Reef visit was great. Snorkelling was awesome. However the cruise experience was a bit of a nightmare. Most of the staff looked like they didn't want to be there. The food provided....unless you push people out of the way and fight...you don't get fed. They run out of food because the clowns that push in first load up plates way more than needed. The polite people who wait nicely miss out. Then you look at people who don't even finish their plates. The bar lines are brutal. Wait times over 30 minutes.

    Everything was sensational. The trip to the reef - perfect! The staff and facilities - perfect! The buffet was absolutely brilliant and the drinks were always flowing

    Was a very calm day on the water, which made the boat ride out and back pleasant. The reef was a little on the brown side, so not a lot of colour in the corals minimal fish as well. But was an enjoyable day. Was a little lacking in communication with notifying about lunch being available, especially with myself having a seafood allergy. Had to always go onto the boat to get drinks as well as didn’t have the bars open on the pontoon. People also ate on the boat which put prawns everywhere and nothing was cleaned up which made it very hard for me to be able to enjoy myself. Just touching seafood sets my allergy off I don’t just have to ingest it to make me react. So I really had to be very careful and I even notified the boat company before going.

    cool fish pretty water and a good day also I SAW A TURTLE. long trip from airlie port to the reef but it was so worth it. such a beautiful reef. good food served on board. amazing customer service from all the staff members. good snack and drink options. and loads of fun!
