- Please bring: swimmers, a beach bag with a towel, hat and shoes, a jacket during winter to protect you from wind and for warmth after snorkelling, camera in a waterproof case or Tupperware, cash for water, soft drinks, fruit juices and chocolates for sale on board, everything you need for the day as you will not return to your accommodation between tours.

Thank you so much to the wonderful Ocean Rafting team for this spectacular day. They knew I was travelling solo, so made an extra effort to look after me and quite simply gave me the best time. Everything was wonderful - from the sky tour to the scuba diving and guided walk. Thank you again!
Gorgeous beach and lookout, fun ocean rafting ride, but not so good tour guide and transfer

Fun ocean rafting ride, but my mom said it was dangerous for the captain to party and take his hand off the steering wheel when zipping in and out at high speed near rocky coast at times. She said we could have died if anything had gone wrong. The other thing we didn’t like was one of the tour guides, Tommy. He made us feel rushed several times. I wanted to use the bathroom on the boat before we got off and he said there were bathrooms at the top of Hill Inlet Lookout and it would take 10 minutes, but it probably took us 30 minutes or more by the time everyone took pictures at 2 different lookouts and the other tour guide talked in a very loud voice (which was not necessary because we were all very close, but he’s probably used to talking so loud because you have to when the ocean raft is running and the wind is blowing) for well over 10 minutes about information that we didn’t even really care about. We just wanted to enjoy the mesmerizing colors and beauty of the inlet in peace. By the time we got to the bathrooms, he said we could use the bathroom on the boat and that the bathrooms were only cleaned once a year. They were decent and not as terrible as he made it sound. Most everybody used the bathroom there. Tommy wanted us to sit down as soon as we got on the boat, but everyone was still trying to settle down and put things back because they are all under the seats. He also wanted me to invert the stinger suit and wash out the sand when I had my book bag, towel, and sandals in my hand. I told him I would do it once I put all of my stuff down, but by the time I did it, they did rinse it off. There are 2 tour guides and they were both just monitoring everyone to get back on the raft. I feel like since we are customers one of them could at least help us out especially since they were not doing anything.
The ocean rafting was fun, the lunch was delicious, the beach was incredibly pretty, we all had a wonderful time.
One the way back, the van that was supposed to take us back to the hotel told us to wait because all 3 vans already had 8 people and we were a party of 4. We waited and all the vans left. We went to the office and asked and they said they’ll come back. We did see 2 vans come back, but they were parking and not picking anyone else up. Then they told us it would’ve been faster for us to walk 10 minutes back to the hotel, which they did not tell us. I had to walk to the other side of the parking lot and flag down the driver and she drove us back. She was nice. There were also another party of 4 that were left behind and they took another van behind us.
The places we went to were wonderful, but the tour guide and transfer on the way home was not.

My partner and I had the most amazing day out. The flight portion was awesome! Beautiful scenes everywhere we looked. Whitehaven beach was a highlight!
We were with Mez and Callista for the ocean rafting. I am learning to swim so I was a bit nervous for the snorkeling! Callista was so lovely and pulled me along the water as I held on to a buoy! Thanks to her I was able to see the Great Barrier Reef!!
We saw whales from the flight and when on the boar! 100% recommend this tour to anyone!

Our tour guides on the boat were Scotty and Kate, the experience would not have been as good as it was without them, they were fantastic. Snorkelling was amazing, Whitehaven was beautiful. Thanks Scotty and Kate, we will be back. Plane ride over the Barrier Reef was breathtaking, how lucky we are to live in this amazing country! Thanks Angela, learnt a lot about the history of the Whitsundays, highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful experience! 10/10 would do this again! The flight over the islands and Great Barrier Reef is amazing, the views from hill inlet are insane and Whitehaven beach is spectacular! The raft ride was super fun, and the snorkelling was incredible! Awesome friendly team as well! Really enjoyable adventure packed experience! 🙌🏼☺️

The flight was the best of the day and we got the opportunity to see the heart of the reef. The pilot was sweet to allow both sides of the passengers to take nice pics.
Majority of the time is the rafting. There was one bushwalk and beach swimming, following by two snorkeling. They provided wetsuits when people are in the water. There are also noodles available for people who can't swim.
Overall a well organised day trip.
