What To Expect

Choose from two tour options: the "Northern Exposure" for more snorkel time, or the " Southern Lights" for more beach time. Both include an informative guide who shares commentary about the ecology and wildlife of the reef and islands. Both tours start with pickup from your Airlie Beach hotel and transfer to the marina for check-in. Your guide welcomes you aboard the boat and provides a full safety briefing before departing for Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands.

Visit stunning Whitehaven Beach and great snorkeling spots at nearby islands. Beginning and expert snorkelers alike can observe colorful marine life along coral reefs, with provided equipment and personal instruction from your guide.

Indulge in a tasty buffet lunch on the beach (own expense), plus afternoon tea with cake. Ride in a sturdy raft equipped with a sunshade that covers much of the vessel, protecting you from the tropical sun. Hotel pickup and drop-off is included.

Had the most amazing day on this trip!! I was on Thrilla and all the crew were brilliant and made the day so fun. The boat trip itself was exhilarating and the music created a really fun vibe. Maisie was always checking that everyone was ok too. The snorkelling was amazing and the crew made sure we got to see some cool stuff, taking to us to a different spot when we couldn’t see anything at the second spot. Couldn’t have been better!!

Kate and Charlotte were outstanding as tour guides. They were approachable, competent and friendly. They took pictures of us and showed us fish and coal while snorkeling. The company was well organized from the pick up to the return. On time and nice snacks and lunch. It couldn't have been better! Thanks for memories to last a lifetime!!!

This experience was amazing and definitely the highlight of our trip. You are taken out to Whitehaven beach where you can relax or swim, then to two snorkelling spots which were just beautiful. So worth it! Kurt and charlotte are great hosts and made sure everyone was comfortable and had fun. They made an awesome experience even more awesome!! I’d definitely book with tour again and I recommend it to anyone visiting Whitsundays

What a great day! Started off with a pickup from my hostel, and my driver was oh so lovely. After a short drive we arrived at the marina and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first stop was whitehaven beach which was incredible. We then visited 2 snorkel destinations. Charlotte and Kate were our guides and they were incredible. Made the day so much more enjoyable. Thank you girls for a great day! And thank you ocean raft for this incredible experience. I really hope to be back.

I am 100% not against the skipper and our guide. But i Felt this tour Should have been cancelled for courtesy for customers. They were both amazing and easy going person and tried to make the trip as interesting as possible. The drawback was the terrible weather. My other friend's tour got cancelled due to the weather But mine Still carried on. Initially i thought i was being lucky. But not long after we went to the first and only snorkeling spot. I barely Saw anything underwater But bleached corals. I have been to many other less popular and famous places both in Australia and other countries. I have never seen corals like this in a tour. The wind was so strong that we were only able to do one snorkeling at this sheltered spot which is apparently not the best places to go to for coral watching. In the arvo we went to the hill inlet hike and again because of the poor weather condition and high tide, we didn't see much from the lookout, absolutely not what you see in the ad photos. We walked in the rain for 1hr. All drenched and then rode back to airlie beach in strong wind. Lots p Of People looked very cold as we wrapped our towels closely around us. I had a fever the next day. The ride was quite fun and wild. However be reminded that there is no toilet onboard and it will be very very cold as there is no shelter for wind onboard and the splashes Can get you very wet!

We had a great day despite the weather. Was a shame that it was high tide when we went to the look out so didn’t see the spectacle of the Whitehaven beach and hill inlet in all its glory. However the snorkel spots were amazing! The boat ride was also a great experience in itself Cash and Dex kept us entertained throughout!
