Begin your tour with pickup at your Airlie Beach accommodation before your scheduled flight.
Transfer to Whitsunday Airport to board your small plane for the scenic flight in the high-wing aircraft. All passengers get a window seat and a safety briefing before your pilot soar up over the island and turns toward Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet. Your pilot makes two passes over Australia's most famous beach before passing over Heart Reef and Hardy Reef on the way out to the Great Barrier Reef.
Sights include Shute Harbour, Hamilton Island, Hill Inlet, Whitehaven Beach, Heart Reef, Hook Reef, Hayman Island, Hook Island, and Daydream Island. Your tour ends with return to Airlie Beach and transfer back to your accommodation.

From the Shuttle service until the end of the tour, everything is awesome. The service, cool staff, and the experience itself. Something really to tick off a bucket list!
Fantastic view of The Whitsundays and The Barrier Reef

We booked this trip as it was on our bucket list to see the Barrier Reef. This did not disappoint. Although the flight was late GSL kept us up to date and even promised to return us to our Cruise Ship tender boat ( which they did ).
The flight briefing and instructions were comprehensive and we were advised that it may get a bit bumpy over the hills. Once over the hills we had a fantastic view of the Islands, Hamilton, Whitehaven beach, amongst others. We even saw our cruise ship in the waters below. The next part of the trip was absolutely breathtaking as we approached and then flew over the coral reef. Our pilot was really informative and offered to take pictures of us after the flight. GSL Aviation were very organized as were Viator with excellent communication throughout and the extra thanks to the Minibus driver who could have dropped us in town but took us back to our tender with minutes to spare.

The pilot Joe was very welcoming and gave clear instructions. He brought a lot of fun by his jokes and made us laugh. The commentary was very clear and accurate. He showed us the most important landmarks including the Heart of the Reef.

Staff were really helpful and went out of their way to get us back to the port in time for departure. The flight was smooth and provided a really memorable view of the reef and islands usually only seen in nature documentaries

Superb company who are very accommodating and actually picked us up from the airport to enable us to do the trip when our flight to Queensland was unfortunately delayed. Very impressive service. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Great Barrier Reef from the air and it was the trip of a lifetime.
