From the time we booked this adventure until Kent dropped us off at the ferry to head back to San Pedro, every minute of our experience was incredible. Ovel communicated with us frequently, leading up to the date the excursion. He picked us up from our resort and took us to the ferry (San Pedro to Belize City) where he had already purchased tickets. He explained that Kent would pick us up at the ferry terminal and would be our guide for our zip lining and cave tubing adventures. We cannot say enough positive things about Kent. He was incredibly knowledgeable, informative and fun! Born and raised in Belize, he provided us historical, botanical and ecological lessons all along the way. He was patient with our large group and had a great sense of humor. The cave tubing is one of the most fascinating excursions we have ever been on. We highly recommend an adventure with Ovel and Kent of Ridge and Reef Adventures.

Our tour guide, Kenton Thompson (AKA King Kong lol sorry!), is THE BEST!! We felt like family and he treated us as such. He taught us so much about his beloved country and even let us be 50% Belizean for the day! :) I really appreciate how he went above and beyond for my husband and I, showing us everything he could even though it was just the 2 of us. And let me just say, those were the most delicious tamales I have ever had and I will be dreaming about them for years to come! My favorite part was the cave tubing and Kenton is so knowledgeable about it all. I highly recommend this tour and you’d be very lucky to have Kenton as your guide. Thank you for everything, Kenton! It was “unBELIZEable”!! :)

Kenton was an AMAZING guide!!! I’ve been a lot of places and done a lot of tours but this one was by far a favorite. He was very knowledgeable, laid back and funny! He made sure we were comfortable and safe the whole time. Cave tubing was a huge thrill!! Thank you so much

First time zip lining with others for whom it was first also. Operators made us feel comfortable and safe. It was fun and offered great views! Cave tubing with Kenton was fun and relaxing. He walked at the right pace, making adjustments according to the members in the group to make sure everyone was good. And they provided true door to door service (not every tour operator does. ).

Kenton was our tour guide for today. He was spectacular and very knowledgeable about the culture and the country. First we went to the Ruins which is definitely worth the trip. The things we learned from him was amazing. From there we did the zip line excursion which I highly recommend doing it. We were first time zip liners and fell in love with it after the first line. While in transport to the cave tubing we enjoyed an authentic belizean meal. Rounded out the trip with cave tubing. As you see from the pictures below it’s something that is a must. Kenton made sure we were safe the whole time throughout the excursion. We had enough time after everything he took us by the Belize sign to snap a few pictures. Stand up tour guide and if you have the chance to request him do it and thank me later. You better belize it.

At least three hours of this tour are on the crowded Rough ferry. Years ago, I went from here to the zoo and cave tubing. We even had a nice lunch at a restaurant. We went over as a small group on a small boat. The ferry alone is $70.

Helen, we appreciate the feedback and sorry it seems you were not fully satisfied however prior to the tour the mode of transfer was told to you and you could have cancelled if you didn't want to go that route or select and pay the difference and take the plane over to Mainland Belize where the guide would have met you. As mentioned above, the ferry does take up a great portion of what is paid so others know we are fair in our pricing. We strive to provide Great service and go above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great experience on our Tours however not everyone has the same expectations.

Kenton Was a fantastic guide. Had so much extra information about the country and the culture during our drive to the zip line and cave tour. Very unique experience floating through the underground caves. Excellent tamales for lunch.
