Great food, fun, and guide
Andrea_R, Apr 2023
Jacopo was very informative and a lot of fun. The food was all good, especially the fried fish. Also Jacopo respected my peanut allergy and made special arrangements to have satay I could eat.
Great tour
Morgan_S, Mar 2023
Bernardo was a fantastic and knowledgeable host and the mix of both food and history was wonderful. Definitely a worthwhile tour, especially if you're traveling solo and looking for something more social.
Fun Facts and Food in the Jordaan
kelbond7, Mar 2023
Good mix of history, culture, food and drink! You're not just paying for food samples...you're paying to connect with a local who can educate you on the area and his or her experience being a part of it. Jacobo was a charming and earnest guide who kept things moving and taught us so many things about Amsterdam and the Jordann District in particular. Highly recommend!
Response from Host, Mar 2023
Thank you for your 5 star review. We are very lucky to have Jacobo on our guiding team!

A great experience, we really enjoyed the short stories about life in Amsterdam and the Netherlands.

The stops on this tour were in an odd order - we started with large, filling apples pies and cream, but the next stop was herring - this didn’t feel right. The tour guide was great and very interesting. I was ill for most of the day after the tour.
Response from Host, Feb 2023
Hello Jane, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you didn't like the order of the food stops. Great that you did enjoy the guide. I hope you felt better soon to enjoy the rest of you stay in Amsterdam
A truly enjoyable...
Mitch_M, Feb 2023
A truly enjoyable experience on every level. All the food selections were delicious and obviously high quality. The experience was enhanced by our guide, Gerard. He made it a very personal experience, sharing his knowledge - and love - of the city, the area and the food, and engaging our small group in all manner of good conversation. Don’t miss it!
Response from Host, Feb 2023
Thank you so much for your 5 star review. We are really lucky to have Gerard in our guide team. Hope to see you again in some of our other foodie cities
Good food Good time
Ian_M, Jan 2023
Bernado was able to blend the history of the city with the food. It gave the tour a different feel from normal food tours and would recommend this.
Great intro to Dutch food
Elizabeth_R, Jan 2023
Great introduction to Dutch food. Aileen was a great guide and went above and beyond giving our group other restaurant recommendations and even helping some of the group make reservations.
Great knowledgeable guide.
mark_l, Jan 2023
Gerard was great, a very likable guide for the afternoon. He explained everything clearly and answered all of our questions about the walk. There were only three of us in the group (ex Gerard) so it was taken at our own pace which was good. Three and a half hours felt like two. Thanks Gerard.
Response from Host, Jan 2023
We loved having you on our food tour. Hope to see you in one of our other foodie cities
Canals History

Had a wonderful time coasting up the canals and learning history about them. Wine and cheese were great. Faried and Tamsin were great guides, warm friendly and pretty funny.

Bar food tour
Brenna_F, Nov 2022
I really liked our tour guide Tolva, but I thought the tour was overpriced for the amount/quality of food. The food included was apple pie as the first stop, which was a little odd, followed by pickled herring and some bites of fried fish, then some small chunks of gouda. Our next indoor stop was 3 types of fries and a beer, and our last stop was a small fried croquet with a beer or some local liquor. It was basically bar food and at $100 per person didn't feel like it was worth it.
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Hi Brenna, Thank you for your honest feedback. The food we taste on tour is all typical Dutch and has a story about why the Dutch eat it. We are very sorry the food didn't meet your expectations as we always strive to give our guests the best experience possible.
Extremely knowledgeable
Randal_B, Nov 2022
Aileen was an incredible tour guide who was not only extremely knowledgeable but also very personable. She was engaging and flexible when it came to what our interests were. I would highly recommend Aileen and the tour to all who are visiting Amsterdam!

Great food tour & Excellent Guide
Ed_T, Oct 2022
Excellent all around food tour and Gerard was amazing! Got to taste a local homemade apple pie from a Cafe that's been operating for >150 years under the same family ownership. Got to taste other local cuisines like Heron, a Dutch version of Fish/Chips, Fries, etc. Wide selection of Drink options from Tea, Beer, Wine, and Liquor.

My favorite Amsterdam tour!
James_M, Oct 2022
I loved this tour. Our guide, Aileen (not sure how to spell her name), was knowledgeable and funny. She kept a great pace during the tour and we got to try so many tasty things. There were 12 people in our group which I think was perfect. We all got to know each other a little bit during the tour. It was great everyone was so friendly since I was on my own for the day while my husband was at a trade show. My personal favorite tastes were the fried cod and the cheeses, though the apple pie was also delicious!! I highly recommend this tour and our guide!
Response from Host, Oct 2022
Thank you for your great review! Great way to spend some time on your own in the city. It's difficult to choose a favorite right? We hope to see you again sometime in one of our 10 foodie cities.
