What To Expect

Find your way to the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky dock, where you'll cash in your voucher. The cruises run all day and into the night, so you can choose the time that is most convenient for you. Boats stop at the dock approximately every 30 minutes.

Step aboard and be greeted by your captain and hostess, dedicated to your enjoyment and safety while on the boat. Sit back and enjoy the sights while your captain provides narration about the history, culture, architecture, and people of Amsterdam. You'll pass important city sights such as the Old Church, the Magere Brug, and the Amstel River. Grab a drink from the bar (own expense) and pull a provided blanket over your lap if you get chilly.

After the tour, you'll be dropped off at your original departure point.

The rain in Amsterdam falls mainly in the boat

Horrific weather but they sailed anyway, rather risk life than cancel and refund the booking.. Shame really thought you guys would have a cover for the boat in wind and sideways rain.

It was certainly memorable as we never were able to board one of cute LBT pleasure boats. Our time slot was set for Thu Sep 7 at the Oudezijds Voorburgwal. At 10am that day, no boat was moored at that spot. A phonecall revealed that a boat should have been there but an indescribable mixup must have taken place. The person dealing with the matter was nice and courteous. They definitely apologized about 5 times for the error and not surprisingly could offer me only 2 options: A) rebook B) get a refund On an action packed "touristy" day, rebooking wasn't possible so I do expect a full refund pretty soon. It's really a shame our Amsterdam trip started off this way and I hope LBT learns from its mistake.

Fun & Relaxing Canal Tour in Amsterdam

We had such a lovely time on this canal tour of Amsterdam! I went with two friends - we went on the tour on our first day as a way of seeing all the city has to offer before exploring it ourselves. The seats were comfortable and they offer drinks on board, and also have a very tasty caramel vodka which I highly recommend (I brought some home as a souvenir!). They also share some fun tidbits about the city. Highly recommend booking this boat tour if you're staying in Amsterdam.

Kind of a gimmicky thing to do in Amsterdam, but I did learn a few things about the city. Had a lot of trouble with my tickets through Viator for some reason as they weren't showing in their system despite the fact that I had them saved in my Google wallet, as a PDF, and in the Viator app. They didn't prevent me from going on the ride but it was a bit of a hassle as multiple tour guides asked me to show my tickets and none could find that I'd purchased two of them.

I really enjoyed the cruise with our captain Richard and our hostess Dina. They were both very pleasant and generous with the information they gave us. Luckily a nice weather allowed us to better admire the beauty of the city from the canal while sipping a drink chosen from the available menu. This tour was fantastic! There were a lot of different canal tours, so I wasn't sure which to book, but I am so happy I went with this one. Our hostess Carli and Captain Niels were amazing! They were so knowledgeable, funny, attentive, and helpful. We went around lunch time and it was great because there were hardly any people. I definitely recommend this with the open top and smaller group over the closed in tours with the larger boats. They also make their own caramel vodka which was so delicious. Carli was so kind to give us local recommendations after the tour. We learned so much about Amsterdam and enjoyed the lovely ride.

Wonderful canal cruise! We did the large Blue Bloat boat tour and we’re so disappointed. So we booked this tour the next day and it was fabulous. A Smaller boat, about 20 on board and friendly captain and Nina the assistance was great. We all felt like we had really experienced being on the canals in Amsterdam after this tour. We would highly recommend it over the larger company boat tours.
