The hop on/off bus in Amsterdam was the only negative experience of our trip. Even with recording difficult to know stop. Workers at kiosk did not know local stop locations. Bus driver was rude. Bus driver slammed door shut on panicked passengers trying to get on. Only able to use bus once for 3 stops. No time to wait for him to take 20 min. Breaks. We walked over 15 miles that day. I am contacting my credit card company. I would like my money for my granddaughter and me refunded. Took same city sightseeing bus in London and it was wonderful. Would recommend it in London but never in Amsterdam. At 75 my once in a lifetime trip had only one negative- the city sightseeing bus in Amsterdam. Please email or call me. I can’t believe you want this service to be representative of your company.

In the past the hop on hop off bus was the perfect way to see the city and access a variety of venues. It was very easy to negotiate. The last 2 times we’ve been in Amsterdam it’s been horrible because there is now no more signage to indicate where the stops are. If you take a taxi anywhere it’s almost impossible to find the stop that will get you back to Central Station. It’s been a total waste of money and a great deal of aggravation.

I have done a-lot of hop on and hop offs in my day and this was the worst one I have done. It is really short - I didn’t realize when booking that the bus only had like 10 stops and then there is a canal boat hop on hop off that has additional stops but is sold separately. It should all be included to equal what you would expect from this type of tour. Also the sound wasn’t working on the entire first bus and then multiple seats didn’t work on the other bus. Super disappointing!

I’m sure there is much more to say about the city it’s history and how it came to be then was shared. Not sure if it is worth the money. Would recommend a private tour to really understand and explore the most interesting parts of the city.

It gives you a feeling of the city. Buses came every 15 -20 minutes The only problem is we tried to start at Stop 5 bit there were no signs showing where hop on and hop off would stop. You only get 1 line and extra for boat is the other line

We got off at stop 6 and did Brewery tour on 8th May 2023. Came back to bus stop at 2.35pm to catch the next bus. It came at 4pm didn't stop. We had to catch a Uber. Also poor directions by staff near Amsterdam Centraal.
