The whole tour was great. Rudolph was wonderful. Entertaining, knowledgeable, and told some great history stories along the way. Several of us had flown in overnight but none of us had trouble staying awake during his tour. Wonderful. Highly recommend.

Before the tour you messaged us you are not a foodie but just wanted to join your friend and maybe we should have advised you to cancel the tour because 4 hours and 7 stops can be a bit long indeed in that case. Probably that is also the reason why you decided to leave the tour after 2 hours. For the not so foodies we offer the 2.5 hours Jordaan Food Tour at a lower rate of €62.50

It was great to try a variety of foods with a small group (6). Learned so much from Rudolph (sp?) about the foods and enjoyed them all even the herring and Indonesian beef. Our favourites were the apple pie and cheeses. Also enjoyed hearing about history of the Netherlands and culture. Felt like a gathering of friends with Rudolph’s humour. Lots of fun!

This was our first food tour. We have tried to go on one in the past, but never booked in enough time. We were greeted by a big friendly guy who lead us into a pub that was our first ‘apple pie’ moment. Other friendly couples were waiting there and also greeted us openly…Rene had set the stage. He told us countless stories and information that was so interesting about the history of the Dutch and also his career path and life as an Amsterdam resident and father. In the days that have followed we refer back to what he told us as we learn more and experience Amsterdam.
