Good Tour

We left from Antigua and our driver was friendly and knowledgeable and stopped in a small village on the way for us to take pictures. He would have made additional stops as well upon request. The guide, Cesar, was very interesting and gave a wonderful look into the lives of Guatemalen people, as well as gave good information on the local flora, fauna and volcanos (recent and prior eruptions and lava flows). Great trip.

Pacaya is a must-do when in Antigua

Our driver was safe, knowledgeable and informative and made the drive enjoyable. He brought a variety of snacks and drinks for us to take on the hike and for afterwards. At Pacayo, our guide Cesar took us on an informative, educational, cultural and engaging journey to the recent lava flows above. He shared personal stories and made us feel like we participated in a true cultural exchange. It was cloudy at the top but we were blessed with no rain. This tour is a must-do and be sure to ask for guide Cesar.
