Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! The hiking is difficult but doable! The views from the top incredible!! About the agency and our tour guy, Delvin, have no comments. Very polite and professional people. Their camp has a roof and it is protected from the rain, cold and wind. The food was tasty and more than enough. Highly recommend them!!! <3

Overall, we really enjoyed this trip. It’s a very tough hike though so be ready. You should be in good shape and without any injuries or you won’t make it. The climb is mostly uphill with frequent breaks and areas to stop for water or snacks. The meals provided were actually pretty good. The volcano was amazing and the only reason it was worth the hike. The sleeping situation sucked. You have no pillow and sleep on a yoga mat. It’s not comfortable at all. Bring a blow up mat and pillow for maximum comfort. The guides were pretty friendly and cooked meals, gave us hot chocolate, tea, etc. Gear you need to bring: hiking boots or trail rated shoes. Flat sneakers will have you sliding down the mountain on the return trip. It sucks. Wear shorts and short sleeves going up with a light coat. However, make sure to pack clothing to sleep in and warm clothing for the the night as it gets pretty cold (sweat pants & a long shirt). They have a bunch of gear you can rent (hiking backpack, jackets, lights etc) but you can avoid this cost if you bring your own. Bring a minimum of 3L of water per person but no more than 4L or it will be too heavy. Also bring a bunch of snacks as you will get hungry. Going to the bathroom sucks, don’t expect it to be easy for #2. Bring toilet paper. Bring face wipes to clean yourself multiple times throughout the trip and before bed. Sunblock too. Other than that, enjoy it!

Our experience was incredible, one hiker one non-hiker.. won’t lie and tell you this hike is easy but we both made it up, and the views were worth every step! The guides were professional and had safety as our first priority and our experience as their second. The food was delicious! And wonderful for a rugged hike.. do not expect to stay clean… you will be dusty head to toe or muddy! But you will not regret one moment of any of it for this once in a lifetime experience unless you decide to bring others to share this gift! Also as a parent of nine… there were some amazing people who brought amazing kids on this hike but I would honestly tell you this hike is not for kids unless you plan to pay for porters and or horses to carry done kids to the top and or back down

This was the hardest hike I’ve done and I grew up hiking big mountains in Colorado! But wow was it worth it. The meals were wonderful and the guides Cesar and Alan were supportive and helpful every step of the way. My friend is a bigger gal and the hike was more difficult for her but they never left her side. Note that it’s 5 hours directly uphill, no flat zig zagging. Also it’s 3 persons to a tent with no pillow which was fine but something to make note of. Bring lots of water and layers!! If you’re looking for an epic experience but with an extreme challenge, this is the tour for you!

Both of our guides were wonderful! Both were very encouraging and upbeat throughout the hike. Caesar kept telling us "You can do it! I promise!" I don't know how I would have managed the hike without Caesar's encouragement. The tour agency was great at preparing us for the tour with a packing list. I will never, ever forget this experience!

Our guides Henry and Benjamin were exceptional. The whole process was extremely smooth (pick up, equipment provided for a small fee, trail and the base camp was already set up when we arrived). We went to see the summit for sunset instead of sunrise which was the best decision they took as the morning was very cloudy and believe me waking up at 4:30 to hike one steep hour in the cold did not look pleasant. The views are out of this world, I would recommend this to anyone! Come prepared with a thick jacket and a scarf though, if not you will regret it.

The hike is super exhausting, but it's worth it! Our guides were super helpful and kind! Be sure to dress warmly, it's super cold at night. The less luggage, the better! Do not take weight with you unnecessarily. The view is breathtaking!

What an amazing 24 hours! I was a bit scared of all the reviews saying it's too damn hard but it was a great (yet still challenging) experience. It took us 4 hours to go up to the base camp and 2 hours to come back down the next day. The views were spectacular -- the volcano erupts like every 5-10 minutes and it's always delightful. The base camp was very windy when we arrived but the next morning the weather was amazing. Try to go up on a sunny day, otherwise it gets a bit cold. Bring layers, and be ready for the night to be freezing. But it's honestly so worth it. My legs still ache a bit after 2 days but I loved every minute of it. Henry was an amazing guide, we had a lot of fun. From pick up to drop off, the tour was really good.
