As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.

Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.
The duration of the tour includes the round trip to the destination.
The Sagrada Familia reserves the right to refuse admission. At the entrance, visitors will have their bags, rucksacks, luggage and personal items checked.
Children under 6 cannot visit the towers (if option selected) and those between 6 and 16 must be accompanied by and adult. Before the entrance to the tower, visitors will have to keep personal belongings inside a locker.
At the towers (if option selected), visitors must take the lifts up to the top and walk down. This area is not adapted for visitors with functional diversity or reduced mobility.

The tour guide (a young lady) for Sagrada was very good. The tour guide for Park Guell (an older man) did not have the most fluent English, and it turned me off that he said 3 times he is from Barcelona, the capital of "my country" Catalonia. He should be keeping politics out of a tour.

We were sold a “private tour” which turned out to be with 20 other people. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging though. The meeting spot was lame. The girls working at that address didn’t want us waiting there for the guide and we’re super rude. My husband didn’t know he couldn’t come back into the museum after the tour with our backpack. A guard almost tackled him and it was alarming! Wish the guide would’ve told my husband he couldn’t go back in with a bag!

The two places were wonderful however, we are told that we have a bus that brings us from Guell Park to the Sagrada Familia but... the bus drops you off at a 15 minute walk from the Sagada. In our case, we had parents with a walker and some with other walking problems. We knew we were walking in the park (which is ok for a while) but we should have been informed of the distance between the bus drop off and the Sagrada, we could have taken a taxi for them. We were told that the buses are not able to drop us off at the Sagrada however, the Hop on Hop Off stop is right in the back of the Sagrada. That would have been better for us. And to top it all off, we have to walk pass the Sagrada to get to the office where they give you the second set of tickets to visit the Sagrada, took a lot of time. I suggest the employee accompanying us in the park and on the bus should have the tickets to save time and walking. Unfortunately, I would not recomment taking this tour.

Too much down time and not worth the cost

Our tour guide was very nice and shared some good information about both sights, but it was not worth the cost and time investment. I would instead recommend just the Fast Track to La Sagrada Familia (and only if it’s high season). You can get into Park Guell on your own for only $10 Euro and do it at your own pace. At the end of the park tour we had 20 minutes of “free time” which ended up being a 30 minute wait for a bus, then for some reason rode the bus to a tour company office that was 8 blocks away from La Sagrada Familia and walked to a second office that was more nearby. After this, we had another hour of free time before the tour. Overall, it was just too much waiting time and not nearly worth the hefty price.

No Air Condition on Bus

The only reason for the 1 star rating is the bus that drove us from Park Guell to Sagrada Familia did NOT have the air condition working as advertised in the "what's provided" section of this tour. The tour guide was wonderful and I enjoyed the park and the cathedral. But I know that Viator/ Julia tours knew this bus did NOT have working air condition when the bus arrived to drive us. I am considering cancelling my next tour with them because I worry about the same experience in the heat of Barcelona. Although the drive on the bus may not have been far- it was far enough to make me feel physically overheated and unhappy when I arrived at Sagrada.

Be prepared to walk!

Raul was out guide for Park Guell and was very informative. He kept the pace maintainable as there was a lot of walking. Great tour. The one issue I have is the bus DID NOT a take us from Park Guell to La Sagrada Familia. It took us to a drop off spot and we had to walk very far to the Julia Travel office to wait for the 2nd guide to then walk us to La Sagrada Familia. This walk was uphill, and pure torture. Especially after walking Park Guell. Our 2nd guide for La Sagrada Familia, I don’t remember her name, but I didn’t enjoy her commentary. It’s one thing to interact with your group, but she was too over the top for me. I enjoyed seeing La Sagrada tho.
