Andy was the best guide we’ve ever had. First, we booked for one if the busiest weeks of the year, the celebration of La Merce. So modified the schedule’s order to avoid the thickest of the crowds, and we were able to have a fabulous tapas lunch, coffee, and saw all the sites listed. Andy truly knows Spanish and Catalon history. He brims with local and historical knowledge and enthusiasm. He packed so much information in, and the day went quickly. This was such a great tour. I felt we got so much more detail and were able to use our time so much more efficiently by having someone help us navigate and point out all the important details. We really enjoyed out tour. Even though it rained by the end when getting to La Sagrada Familia, Zsofi made the best of it. Zsofi is not only very knowledgeable about the history of landmarks but she is easy going and friendly. When expending so many hours with someone, I think both parts are important. Highly recommend !

Vicenta was our tour guide and was AMAZING! She was timely, conscientious and so knowledgeable about Barcelona and Europe in general. We only had one day in the city and she managed to pack the best things in. The things we learned and some of the places she took us we would have never found. The tour also included a quaint coffee shop and also lunch. She did not stop with us the entire time and was really wonderful. She also sent us places to go to after the tour before we boarded our ship. I highly, highly recommend this tour.

Jennifer was absolutely fantastic! We felt that we received the ultimate city tour plus the Gaudi sites. She graciously answered all of our questions, offered wonderful ideas for spots to visit and dine at during our remaining days in Barcelona. The coffee stop was a delight, the tapas meal gave us many options to try and the walking tour of the market left us wanting more! Sagrada Familia was better than we had hoped for We would give this tour 10 stars if that was an option.

We learned and saw so much in just a day. Pedro walked us around key points of the city explaining each corner, monument and historical landmark with excitement and awe. We could not help to fall in love with Barcelona. There’s still so much more to see, but we hope to return!

Good Introductory Tour

The tour was good. It is best used as an introductory tour of Barcelona. It includes entry into Park Guell, and ground level only entrance into Sagrada Familia. The facilitator is a local resident who walks you through the city like a local. After the completing the tour it is best to have an additional day to revisit sights and do entry tours into any attraction you enjoyed walking past on the tour. Originally, this was my second option due to the high cost of a private tour. As a result I booked this tour last minute. I want to say my tour operator worked hard to overcome may issues on my tour which the last minute booking contributed to. Although it did not go as originally planned, in the end the tour worked out. Thank you. It is a sign of a good agency to be able to manage issues when they arise well. I was impressed with the efforts.
