What To Expect

Make your way to La Sagrada Familia, one of Barcelona's best-known landmarks, to meet your guide and tour group. Get there before the popular site is open to the general public. Avoid long lines and be one of the first groups allowed inside.

Before entry, marvel at the ornate exterior of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring sharp, soaring spires and incredible architectural detail.

Follow your guide inside for a tour of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí's masterwork. Look up for dizzying views of 230-foot (70-meter) vaults, colorful stained glass windows and soaring ceilings. Walk down the five aisles in the shape of a Latin cross while listening to your guide's commentary about Gaudí's architectural philosophy and inspiration. Learn about the reason for the church's unfinished state; construction begun in 1882 and was only a quarter complete when it halted in 1926.

Opt to upgrade your experience with exclusive access to the Tower on the Passion façade, where you will have a panoramic views of the city from a height of 215 feet (65 meters). Please note that access to the tower requires a climb of roughly 400 steps.

Following your tour, you are free to explore the site further on your own, you may wish to visit Parca de Gaudi while you are in the area..

After paying, I got up very early and made my way there only to find out that my tour guide did not have a ticket for me. She was rude and I could not get it solved so never got to go in. This is the 2nd time something like this has happened to me- ridiculous!

The cathedral is the most amazing and different structure I’ve ever seen. The colours from the sun shining through the stain glass windows is magical. The guided tour was disappointing! The initial meeting place was crowded and chaotic.The radios provided were such poor quality I could not understand most of what the tour guide said. In hind site it would have been less than half the price to book with the official site and use the hand held prerecorded guides. The tower option was interesting but not necessary… the view was not great.

Skip the line is a joke!

First the cathedral is stunning…don’t get me wrong. The “skip the line” come on is a joke. We waited 45 minutes in line to enter the cathedral. The tour was supposed to be in English but it was in both Spanish and English once out guide found out there we Spanish people in our group. The audio sets were awful. Could barely hear our guide. My advice…don’t get a guide and go with the audio tour that is offered in the cathedral. Definitely worth a visit…not witha guide.

We really enjoyed and we’re amazed by the architectural design which totally deviates from any other Catholic Church. I guess it was Gaudi’s dream of what a church could look or should look like. What kind of takes away from the overall experience is lack of coordination and some apparent confusion by the tour guides, prior to the start. It took more than 1/2 hr to get organized. They acted as if it was their first tour. Our English guide was knowledgeable but quit my.

Tour wasn't that great. Our guide was kind, but I've definitely had better (more informative, more engaging, more enthusiastic) guides before. Honestly only paid $65/person for this (v. ~$30 if you buy a ticket directly from Sagrada Familia) because we planned poorly and tickets directly from SF were all sold out for the day we wanted to go.
