My tour guide Joey was hands down amazing! He started off by stopping at a natural wine spot ran by Vince… of course I bought some cashew and blackberry wine. We then went to the ruins and he was so knowledgeable about the Mayan error and since this was a solo trip I had all the time to ask him all questions even if they seemed silly to me. I went to Howler monkey sanctuary after and there I got to let the monkeys pet me 😂 and I also tried out termites 😅…didn’t know I was that daring! Overall my trip was worth it and I’ll book them again when I come back to check on the my Roey, the baby boy monkey I adopted 😊.

Great guide, perfect half-day tour

Norman was the best! Absolutely fantastic guide, we learned so much and could tell he was really passionate. We got a little lucky because we avoided the big tour busses so it was almost like a private time at the ruins and in the sanctuary. The monkeys came right up to us and we got some great pics. We even got to have lunch as a local spot in Belize city. Highly recommend if you're not looking for an all day adventure; we were able to make a 2:30pm flight to San Pedro so it was a perfect half-day excursion.
