    We pick up any where in Belize city or ladyville, hotel name. If you are staying in Ambergris Caye or Caye Caulker island please catch the 6 am ferry over to Belize city and we will pick up at the water taxi terminal. You can also take the domestic airline over to Belize city or BZE airport.

Cruise ship guests: meet your guide exiting terminal one onto the street at 8 am ship time or as soon as possible. Hotel guests: 8:15 am meet your guide exiting terminal one onto the street. All guests must meet us in Belize city, just please specify your hotel or address.

What To Expect

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • All persons must be at least 40 inches tall to participate in the cave tubing adventure
  • All persons must not exceed a 48-inch waist size to participate in the zip-line adventure
  • The cave tubing hike is about a mile on a flat nature trail and you float back down through the caves and open river
  • There are short hikes between the platforms for the zip-lining to go to a higher platform
  • Van/bus for travel also acts as the locker for all dry clothing, etc.
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Travellers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • Guest coming off a cruise ship must meet us out side of terminal one as soon as possible after ship docks and we use ship time and not local time to meet.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 35 travellers

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Freddy our guide was wonderful. His knowledge on the Mayan culture made our adventures so much more wondrous. Tubing through caves was exciting having known about the history of their use and age. Our zip line guides were fanatic. Made everyone feel safe . our trip was wonderful

Fredd was awesome! Very welcoming and accommodating. He was also supportive of our fears. Pickup was easy, he was waiting for us when we arrived at the water taxi station. THIS IS PRETTY MUCH A PRIVATE TOUR, which makes the cost so much more valuable. We didn’t know until we arrived so we were weary being women but felt safe with Fredd. There’s an hour ride to and from the water taxi port. I loved how the activities were a mini exercise too, hiking to the cave and the zip lines. You have the option of paying to have your tubes delivered rather than hiking with them if you like. The zip line guys were super supportive, I wish I knew the guy name but he comforted me as I was crying to get over my fear of heights lol. We also stopped at a local spot, Amigos for lunch. Great food and faster wait times than the other restaurants we went to. I would definitely recommend this excursion when visiting Belize.

Awful, unsafe, terrifying experience. STAY AWAY from Explore Belize Caves!

Stay away from "Explore Belize Caves!" Driver "Mr. Clarance" was extremely unsafe. He made multiple unexpected stops without informing us, and these appeared to be very shady drug deals. He was speeding over 100 mph, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving erratically, honking his horn excessively, stomping on the brakes, and shouting at other drivers. This terrified us and gave us motion sickness. After 35 minutes of this unsafe driving, questionable activity, and fear for our lives, we asked him to take us back to the port. We are incredibly disappointed by "Explore Belize Caves'" lack of professionalism and lack of care for their customers.

Clarence Brown aka brown sugar was our guide. He was excellent a gentle and humble family man. So knowledgeable and caring. We were a party of five and seniors. He took his time with us. Absolutely wonderful man. The cave tubing was so much fun and so exciting. We would diffenetly recommend. The zip line was so much fun and got your adrenaline pumping. So safe stanless steel cables and all inspections are completed yearly by the U.S. both tours were outstanding both guides on the zip line were so cautious with us. Terrific

A wonderful excursion. We had Clarence, or Brown Sugar as our guide. Highly recommend him. He’s fun and knowledgeable. Our ship was a bit delayed getting in, then the water shuttles took forever. But he waiting at the port for us and we were quickly on our way. We love when guides tell us more about their country and what we are seeing, which he did. The cave tubing was safe and fun. Wear your swimsuit and bring water shoes, or you will have to pay to rent them. Also, bring bug spray. We had to buy some there and it was $12 for a little can. After a rain, the bugs were brutal, but the bug spray helped a lot!The walk was longer than we thought and the surface wasn’t as even. We were fine, but others may find it difficult. The company used for zip-lining was amazing too. Very safe and fun! I highly recommend this excursion and we all loved it (Our adult family was 24, 32, 58, and 59 at the time).

The Highlight of Belize

Absolutely amazing and unmissable experience! We were staying in San Pedro and took the 6am ferry (it’s worth the early wake up call!). Nelson met us at the ferry with cold waters and gave us tons of into on the town while we road to our start stop (about an hour away). We did the zip-lining tour before heading to the caves for tubing. Zip-lining crew were very funny and knowledgeable. It was 6 shorter lines, but you got some great views! The cave tubing was the highlight of everyone’s trip (and we did quite a few tours). We were also grateful that Nelson arranged some beers and a tasty lunch in the way back for a small charge. Highly recommend where he takes you. Overall we think this tour should not be missed. Hang out with Nelson and he’ll both entertain and educate you!

Cave Tubing and Zipline in Belize was a GREAT TOUR! We are so happy to have done this with Explore Belize Caves. We were met just outside the cruise port by our friendly guides Dennis and Fred. These 2 guys are pure entertainment, they kept us laughing all day with their jokes. We had a great 1 hour van ride with them to the tubing/zipline area (they are very close to each other). The scenery of Belize was beautiful and Fred taught us a lot about the local area and its history. We started with cave tubing. This was one of the highlights of our entire cruise trip. Fred guided us up this beautiful jungle walk (not strenuous at all), with beautiful river crossings. He kept us laughing with his jokes. Then we spent 1.5 hours floating down this incredible river that tunnel through the mountain. Lots of interesting formations in the cave. Fred definitely was the best guide on the river. After the tubing, we showered off and got on our dry cloths and went zip lining. The zip-lining took less than an hour. We were the only people there. It was 6 lines, you have to do your own breaking, one line is over the river so that was cool! I think the cave tubing was the better of the 2 activities. Overall the entire trip with Dennis and Fred was fantastic and I would recommend them as guides to anyone who wants to have a great time in Belize. We got back with a little time to spare and plenty of time to catch a tender to our cruise ship.
