I really couldn’t recommend this tour more! Our tour guide David was amazing! He not only was a plethora of knowledge, he kept everyone entertained and was catering to everyone on the van. We all had a great time. Thank you David! There’s no way we would’ve known what we were looking at, when it happened and the tales behind it all. It’s a must do.

We loved the ENTIRE tour. The national park, lava tube, scenic overlooks, coffee farm, waterfalls, and chocolate stop were extraordinary, as was David! He gave us a true feel for many aspects of the island including so very many interesting facts. We appreciated his caring attitude, even his offer to snap a few photos.

I don’t like being told to write more. David was a great guide: very knowledgeable and a good driver. Very good plan not to discuss politics or religion as we had guests from China and India. Good recommendation for fish restaurant.

If you only have one day to see Big Island this is the tour for you

We love a tour with an expert rather than a generic tour guide. We went to Big Island to see the natural wonders with a special wish to explore Volcanoes National Park. We chose Geo tours and our guide was the Geologist Zane. He was brilliant. Not only knowledgeable , so enthusiastic and he made the day. We saw so much and saw the lava which was a real thrill. There were so many things we did and saw on this tour I wouldn't want to spoil any surprises. Well done Zane and thanks so much for such a wonderful day. Stuart N

Volcano tour

Erik did a good job of showing the group a lot of interesting and educational areas. In spite of a rainy day, we were able to not only see plenty of interesting arra as well as generally keeping the group dry. Lunch and snacks were much better than expected. Highly recommend this tour.

Love all the information Dave gave us...VERY informative. It is a long day, but what a great way to get an overview of the entire island. The island was socked in with rain so we were disappointed to not see any lava, but we did see MAJOR steam vents due to the rain. We VERY MUCH ENJOYED the tour.

This was a fantastic tour!! Our geologist guide, Eric, was awesome—knowledgeable, friendly and well prepared. It was a great tour of the Big Island and a wonderful way to view the active volcano, Kilauea. His comfortable touring van was stocked with bug spray/sunscreen/rain gear supplies and a great variety of snacks. And there were plenty of sightseeing stops to see the beautiful local scenery and to accommodate bathroom breaks. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting The Big Island!

Zane Smith is the BEST tour guide! He really finds a way to connect with each person in the group to make it a unique personal experience for everyone. He was very informative and we really enjoyed Punalu'u Black Sand beach, Holei Sea Arch, Rainbow Falls, Thurston Lava Tube, both the craters in the Volcano Park and the little restaurant we ate at. Highly recommend.
