What a beautiful tour! We especially loved having Manu as our tour guide. He shared so much history, tradition and personal stories about their way of life with us. We were really appreciative for all we learned from Manu. Some of the view points were just absolutely striking! He also served delicious coconut and banana deserts. My only piece of feedback would to have more time off roading on the mountain rather than driving the main road with the ATVs. Otherwise, amazing tour!

Very fun experience!

Me and my wife had our honeymoon in Bora Bora and this was one of the excursions. First off, our tour operator, H., was so kind and professional. He is such a people person and gives guests a warm welcome! The tour through Vaitape was amazing. So many sights to see! To top off the tour, we were presented with a delicious snack that I will keep as a secret. From top to bottom, we had a ball and are looking forward to doing it again next time for our 10 or 20 year anniversary!

Shoutout to our amazing ATV expedition leader, Tahi!!! Mauruuru roa for the memorable experience you have given us. Tahi was humorous, relaxed, and genuinely cared about everyone on the tour. We could not imagine a better tour leader. The ride around the island was a great mix of on-road and off-road experience. We were also taught much about the geography of the islands and history of the French Polynesian people along the way. Many thanks for the maitai roa journey and I hope our paths to cross again one day!

Tahi was a great guide. We learned a lot about the history of Polynesian people and the Island of Bora Bora. The ATV was super easy to handle. The first terrain was pretty steep and rocky. If you are going tandem, make sure the person who is more comfortable navigating this part drives first. Overall it was great to drive the entire island island and stop at these incredible lookouts spots that you would never go to on your own. Seeing the island from that high added to its beauty.

Great time on ATV tour of main island in Bora Bora!

My husband and I had a great time on the ATV tour. The guide takes you around the island with a few brief stops and one longer one for a snack he provides. They also give you bottled water to drink. Most of the ride is on paved road but you do go up and into the island a bit and those parts can be extremely bumpy - just be careful if you have any back issues you may want to avoid. Other than that the excursion is great. Love that this is a local owned business that Manu built from ground up - and he will pick you up by boat at your resort! No complaints at all! This was one of the best non-water excursions! The tour around the island was epic. Our guide, Tama, was amazing! He made a lot of jokes, helped us feel comfortable and welcomed! Tama is just an awesome guy that makes the history so interesting. Highly, highly recommend!

Ride around town + serious off-roading

If you are not comfortable with operating an ATV on steep inclines with loose rocky gravel and mud, do NOT sign up to be a driver. My wife and I had a great time. The experience consists of a ride around the island on the main road, plus 3 stops that take you up steep inclines to catch wonderful views of the island and islets. The ATVs are modern and comfortable for passengers. Just beware that the off-road parts do require caution. I enjoyed the off-road parts and it was a real challenge, so it added to the fun. My wife was much happier as a passenger. The ride around town was fun, but also be careful when you get to the west side of the island. You will be driving in traffic and a few times our group was broken up. We also had to come to a sudden stop. There aren’t many rules when it comes to traffic on the mainland so don’t get too distracted by the views of you are the driver. Tama was a great guide. We had a lot of fun. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

We had the best time with Manu! He took us to some of the most amazing places and provided the history and back story of each of the places we went to. We learned so much on this trip thanks to Manu and had an absolute best. The snacks and drinks along the way were also a nice touch as it was local drinks and produce. I highly recommend Manu for those in Bora Bora who are wanting an adventurous activity!

Great experience def need to try it out your guide was amazing !!! Took us around the whole island 20 miles of road and then to the top of the Mountain for an amazing view, we were offered mango juice water and some tradition Polynesian snacks coconut and banana.

We had the absolute best time! Manu was wonderful! You get to drive all around the island and we made 3 stops. The views you get to see are breathtaking! The Atvs are very comfortable even on the rough paths. Manu is very knowledgeable. This was our second time in Bora Bora but our first time doing the ATVs. This is a must! The snacks provided were delicious!
