What To Expect

Board the ship and allow the ship’s photographer to capture the moment, should the mood strike. The captain and crew will welcome you aboard. Then head off to a candlelit table for two — or more. Some of the ship’s cabaret-style seating encourages meeting and greeting new friends, so be sure to mix and mingle. Three climate-controlled interior decks with panoramic windows allow for a perfect view of the Boston skyline. And be sure to visit the captain’s bridge.

It’s time for an elegant three-course dinner, complete with a tasting trio appetizer, entree and dessert, complemented by the excellent wine list.

The ship looked lovey from afar, upclose it is in need of serious cleaning and updating. The food was nothing more than frozen food warmed. There was nothing inviting or personal about the food. It was rather tasteless. The best part was the time we spent on deck looking out at the harbor. This excursion was a disappointment.

A Cruise with Views and a Meal You Wish Never Happened

My wife and I went on the cruise together. The views of the city were wonderful. "Higgins" our host was very personable and did a great job. The boat itself was nice. The food was far below average and honestly some of it was not edible. We started with the charcuterie and a salad. The meat on the charcuterie had a green tint to it. The cheese was dry. The salad was not good. For our main courses, I had the steak, and my wife had the chicken. The steak was extremely tough and had no flavor. It was likely the worst cut of meat I have ever had in my life. The meat I ate in the Navy was far better than what was served on this cruise. The side of potatoes had no flavor whatsoever and the asparagus was extremely light in color and not good at all. My wife had the chicken. She managed to get a couple bites down before she gave up. For dessert we had the Pineapple Upside-down Cake and the Cheesecake. The Pineapple Upside-down Cake was not at all identifiable as anything a person should consume. I used my fist to hammer the spoon through what was supposed to be cake. The Cheesecake was just bland and likely beyond its expiration date. Once we gave up on the meal, we settled in for the music and the views. The vibe set by the DJ was a wedding reception in the early 90's gone wrong. While relaxing topside and enjoying both the view of the city and conversation with Higgins, our hope was to return to port in-time to enjoy a meal ashore. Unfortunately, by the time the ship was moored, all restaurants in the area were closed.

Everything was wonderful. The food and drinks delicious. The staff super friendly and kind. I don’t got 5 stars just because I requested by call and the agent did notes in my reservation asking for special anniversary decorations in my table. The staff in the deck confirmed me the notes but wasn’t nothing different or special in my table. So, I did for myself. I found my decoration and I did for my husband.

We have 2 separate reservations, but we are together, and they chose for us a table near the bathroom, in a window that is not a good view, and we complain about that but they didn’t show us other options, but we know we have other reservation option, but they didn’t give us the option. Also they took bread to neighbor’s table and not to ours.

Food should match the expensive ticket, plus it’s a special trip, nice ship, gorgeous area, beautiful view … Food should go to higher level. The outside of the boat, sunset, and views were amazing. The food was surprisingly good but only offered chicken & fish options. There were additional appetizers and drinks available for purchase. Says semi-formal, but a guy had on a sports jersey. Hated that my group was nicely dressed but someone was allowed to board looking like he came from a baseball game. Thats fine if you allow a more relaxed dress code but remove the dress requirement description from the guide for those of us who follow rules. My least favorite things were the bathroom and DJ. He wasn't bad, its just that there are some basic songs/line dances that every DJ plays to get everyone on the dance floor and he didn’t play any. I will say his music was diverse and inclusive (afrobeats, salsa, Beyoncé). To be clear- he wasn’t bad… just a missed opportunity to make the experience more enjoyable. The ladies restroom also needs better ventilation.

Terrible customer service. You’ll wait for ever for a reply for any questions. They say boarding is from 6to7pm and they left at 6:45pm. We booked with a group and a couple of the group showed up as the boat was leaving at 6:45pm. Nowhere in the description did it say they would be leaving before 7 PM. However, they also tried to call and reschedule or even get a refund and they were denied both which I think is ridiculous for the price that you pay if you didn’t even show up and eat.
