What To Expect

The Boston Duck Tour covers it all—from the State House in the Beacon Hill neighborhood to Bunker Hill and the TD Garden, home to the Boston Celtics. There’s Boston Common, a public park in downtown Boston and the oldest city park in the United States; Copley Square, a sort of public square in the Back Bay neighborhood; the Big Dig central artery/tunnel project; plus Government Center to Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower and more.

That’s a lot, but that’s not all. It’s time for the duck to float—with a splashdown into the Charles River for a view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines.

Important note: Multi-lingual audio guides available from Prudential Center and Museum of Science departures only.

Fun time
Margie_L, Sept 2023
What a fun way to learn at little bit of history in Boston. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the trip informative but also a fun time.
Highlight of Boston Trip
Roxanne_W, Sept 2023
We really enjoyed the knowledge and humor of our guide, Hot Wheels. Despite the heavy traffic, we felt completely safe with the driver (forgot his name😞) We learned a lot of history about Boston. The boat ride, and the experience of driving it, was the best! So glad we took the time to do the tour! Highly recommend! Kelly and Cindy

City tour

The narrator was a nice lady...and a good tour of the city. Cannot stand to take pictures while on the duck...since it is a amphibious vehicle it goes in water as well. A bit noisy..but overall a good experience.
Trip cancelled due to bad weather

Our duck boat trip was cancelled due to bad weather Disappointing but glad safety was observed Hope to travel to Boston again for another chance
Fun experience
beverly_a, Sept 2023
I enjoyed being able to see the sights for a reasonable price, and remain seated to do it. The seats were very close together though, making it difficult to be comfortable. Also, we were not informed the tour was shortened as there was a threat of lightning (reasonably so) and the water portion of the tour was cancelled.
Great fun!
