    Check-in: Our check-in booth with large red signs on top is located across the street from Legal Sea Foods and in front of the New England Aquarium at Central Wharf in Boston.  The ships Liberty Clipper and Liberty Star depart from the docks next to the New England Aquarium (north side).

  • SOME IMPORTANT DETAILS:
  • We suggest that all passengers arrive 15-20 minutes before departure to allow yourself time to check in at the booth which is located on Central Wharf near the New England Aquarium (across from Legal Sea Foods restaurant).
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Service animals allowed
  • Near public transportation
  • Please advise at time of booking if wheelchair assistance is required. Our crew is happy to help get you onboard! Due to the nature of the vessel, we are unable to accommodate motorized wheelchairs. Surfaces are uneven.
  • Minimum drinking age is 21 years
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. Your space has been guaranteed at the event and the activity runs regardless of weather conditions. In the rare situation where the seller is forced to cancel the event, ticket-holders will receive credit for a future sailing. The Company reserves the right to cancel any sail for inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If the Company cancels your cruise, you may reschedule to another comparable sail or receive a Company credit, but no refund will be issued. Further, the Company may cancel any sail for a private charter in which case a full refund will be issued. The Company reserves the right to substitute vessels for any departure. For groups of 8 or more a 10% minimum gratuity will be added to your booking and you hereby authorize us to charge the gratuity to your credit card as an additional charge.

      We enjoyed the sail and the view of the city from the harbor. The captain and crew handled the schooner expertly! We got some great pictures of the sunset and of the lights of the city upon return!

      Trip was canceled due to mechanical issues so not really able to rate it. They said they’re going to refund me-hoping that happens! We paid for rain cancellation insurance-didn’t rain but trip was canceled.

      It was a nice cruise around the harbor and out into the ocean. It was relaxing and smooth sailing. The crew was fun and helpful. There are options to purchase a variety of beverages and snacks. If you need back support, then I would recommend being one of the first in line as there is only limited benches to sit on.

      As Boston natives we weren't on board for the sightseeing, just the pleasure of being out on the water on a beautiful night. The crew was friendly and fun, a lot of people helped out raising the sails, and the bar had something for everyone. One crew member played the guitar and sang on the back deck for a while and it was lovely. The seating situation is a little weird- you just sit on random structures scattered around the deck, but it works. We had a great time!

      Guest participation in the "Raising of the Sails" was my favorite. My companion is here visiting from Panama and is also a Graduate of the Maritime Academy there. He enjoyed being part of the crew and had me video the experience so he could send to friends and family back home.

      I like that they all seem like a family and are all really friendly.. getting to steer the ship wasn’t bass at all and they try to include everyone in helping with stuff like raising the sails making you feel like one of the crew members.. and are all engaging and actually try to ask questions and have conversations with everyone and the music was a nice touch. not sure what I was expecting
