Springbrook, Mount Tamborine Experience- Amazing!

My husband and I are visiting from Canada and had the pleasure of doing this tour with Tania from Bums on Seats. Tania, who also happens to be the owner of the company
In Queensland was very knowledgeable and friendly. She shared info about herself and encouraged our group of six to share a bit about themselves. It certainly made the day most enjoyable, as if travelling with friends. The rainforest and waterfalls were amazing! The glow worm cave was fascinating. The included lunch was very good And time was provided to browse the craft shops in Tamborine Mountain if desired. The day was rainy, but did not dampen our experience. Tania was even good enough to provide umbrellas if needed. I would definitely recommend this tour and Thankyou so much Tania For providing commentary throughout the day.

Very nice day very well organized. Tannia the guide was really attentive, passionate and learned us a lot things about Springbrook and Tamborine. The visit to the worm caves was very instructive and a superb finale with the skywalk where we had the chance to see a python. Thank you Tannia for this beautiful day, and the photos you took!

A really excellent day. Mark our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The walk was quite hard for us, we are in our 70's and my husband had had knee surgery. But Mark waited for us, and we never felt it was too much. Lunch was really good and the Glow worm cave very interesting.

Hi Margaret! I'm glad you had a good day. Best of luck for your future travels. Psd - Future customers We do have the status set as medium fitness level as there are stairs and you need to be able to easily walk back up the hill. Walking total for the day is approx 2.4 km.

Tanja and Ellie were amazing guides who really love what they do. They presented a lot of facts about Brisbane and the country life around. We stopped at some beautiful places, had enough time to take pictures and a great lunch.

Too much driving and walking for too few mediocre sights. More verbal information could have been provided by driver.

Too much driving and too much walking between too few mediocre sights. The driver should have given more information regarding the distances involved, both in driving and in walking. The individual destinations were average, with the man-made glow worm cave being at the bottom of the list. The tree top walk was like any other. A day out, but nothing to rave about and certainly nothing to recommend to family and friends. Not value for money.
One suggestion: make the tree top walk the first item on the tour, as we would liked to have completed it and not turned around halfway, because of end of the day fatigue.

2km of walking in total is not a lot as for your fatigue perhaps this is not the tour for you if you're a little older as paths are not designed for the elderly and we agree it's a long day! A total of 350 km driving and approx 9 hours in total with our beautiful customers :)
This tour is designed so people can see as much as possible in the one day, it is not a tour designed for giving knowledge purely sightseeing and never gives the impression that it is a fully narrated tour in every moment of the tour. Good luck on your future travels :)
As for value for money an Uber will cost you $400 return to Mt Tamborine. Even more to Springbrook.
Perhaps you might rent a car?
$100 + $75 fuel + lunch + 40 + drinks ???
Customers still not value for money?
Your lunch is $40, not to mention your snack and water. Viator takes 30% any cheaper and we would be working for free :(
Future Customers - if you want to see Springbrook and Tamborine 1.5 hours to Springbrook 1 hour to Tamborine, no helicopters available so it does take some time!

Mark was an absolutely amazing guide, the tour covered quite a lot with waterfalls at Springbrook, Glow worm cave and the skywalk in mount Tambourine. Would definitely recommend this tour 😊

Lots of driving but the activites were fun and the the guide Mark was great value! Always had a good story to tell! The lunch was nice too but probably worth bringing a snack for dinner
