What To Expect

Make your own way to XXXX Brewery to meet your guide in the visitor center. Start with an introduction to the history of beer making, then witness one of Queensland’s most renowned breweries at work.

Your guide provides safety gear before leading you through the historic site. Check out the machinery that brews and bottles beer as you enter the Packaging Hall (open most weekdays) and watch thousands of beer bottles whiz past you on a distribution line. XXXX employs a state-of-the-art packaging operation, and most breweries don't allow visitors to get this close.

After seeing the inner workings of the brewery, stroll into the XXXX Restaurant and Bar where professional bartenders demonstrate how to pour the perfect glass of beer. Taste delicious XXXX brews as your guide provides insight about the distinctive flavors. Chat with your guide and fellow beer aficionados until your tour wraps up.

Feel free to linger in the bar and enjoy XXXX's legendary beers before making your way to your next destination in Brisbane. You may want to purchase a bite to eat in the restaurant or hit the gift shop before leaving.

Packaging lines are not in operation from Friday midday until Sunday, however you will still tour through this area

We actually enjoyed the tour. I forgot the name of the older gentleman but he was very knowledgeable. We came from Los Angeles and really enjoyed their beer. Very light and crisp. And the food they serve was delicious

The tour it's self was excellent, very informative and interesting. The facilities at the complex were good and the food in the restaurant was very enjoyable. The only fly in the ointment was that we were told the wrong bus number to get from the city to the brewery by the information centro in the Queens St mall and finished up in Auchenflower where we had to find the railway station to get a train to Milton..,which made us late for the start of our tour. Fortunately we were able to change to a later tour. There was no information on the station platform to tell us what train to get which is disconcerting for visitors not used to the Brisbane transport system

This was a very enjoyable and informative tour. Recommend to do the tour Monday to Thursday, as Friday and weekends are non production days. Don't bother eating there as the meals are bad.

The people to whom I gave the gift of the Tour of the Brewery said the tour was fantastic and the Tour Guide certainly knew his stuff. They were very impressed with him. Only problem was a technology failure during the latter part of the tour which kept them there for an extra half hour. They told me that managed to fill that time in quite well.
