Angelo was our tour guide, and he was amazing! So knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and personable. I have a nut allergy, and he ensured that I felt comfortable everywhere we went and had alternatives available for me as well. We explored the Cobble Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn and it stole my heart. Not to mention all the DELICIOUS food we tried! Croissants, pulled pork, cookies, pizza, spanakopita…we left VERY full for sure! Highly recommend, great way to explore a new area and learn about history.

We got lost finding the location so we were about 15 minutes late. We missed the start and weren’t provided with the guides number to call. I had provided my contact number but no-one rang us to check we were coming, which was disappointing. We tried to see if we could meet-up with the group by following the trail described in the promotion of the tour but this didn’t work. It was a shame as the rest of our time in Brooklyn was great.

Nice Stroll Around Brooklyn

We enjoyed our stroll around Brooklyn since this was our first time there. The food was a bit heavy on bread items and very little protein - only Salmon on our bagel. This is the first tour of many that we’ve taken that no beverage was offered other than water. It was still pleasant and informative.

Our tour with Angelo was wonderful! You know you are going to have a great food tour when the business owners & workers know your guide. We tried many different types of cuisine (french, middle eastern, italian, etc) starting with breakfast and moving along to lunch and desserts. My husband and I appreciated the personal stories and histories that Angelo has collected from the people who live in the neighborhoods we toured to share with his tour groups. While it was a 3 hour tour it wasn't too many miles (maybe 6-7,000 steps) as there were plenty of stops - there were also several bathroom options and places to grab a drink.

Great combination of amazing food, history, and recognition of cultural legacy.

This was a fantastic tour. I really appreciated Angelo's storytelling and weaving together the history of the area, it's development over time, the cultural influences, and why each food spot is selected for the tour.
