    Fun chocolate making workshop

    We had a great time at the chocolate workshop and made some lovely chocolates. Kelly who led the workshop was super helpful and helped us all relax and enjoy a new experience

    Fun couple of hours creating chocolate. You create quite a lot of chocolate per person which you could take away with you in a little box which was great. The instructor was very knowledgeable but I feel some laminated instructions on each table would’ve been better as with only one instructor it was quite difficult to make sure everyone knew what they were doing. The only thing that let it down for us was the lack of options when it came to making our chocolates. The instructor spent a lot of time talking about all different types of chocolate but we only had the choice of dark chocolate. So if you didnt like dark chocolate, you didn’t have another option. It’s quite expensive not to like what you’ve made! The filling choices were very limited despite there being jars and bottles of other items around the room, all we had was fruit and nut, dark chocolate ganache and salted caramel. I’d still recommend the workshop though as it was fun to try something new. Don’t wear your best clothes though as aprons were not provided as shown in some of the photos on here!!

    Fun and educational and you got yummy choc at the end of it. The instructor was awesome. I would highly recommend if you have a couple of hour spare while you are in Bruge

    Lovely young lady doing the workshop. Great fun! Be prepared to get messy! There’s lots of melted chocolate to play with !!! Buy you end up with some delicious chocolates that you can show off as being made by hand by you!

    Really good workshop led by Rose who made the trip enjoyable. Really enjoyed making the pralines and mendients but perhaps would have been nice to have more variety of filling rather than just nuts or raisins. Would still 100% recommend as a great way to spend a couple of hours.

    We did this chocolate making class on Nov 1st and we loved it! We haven't done anything like this before so we weren't sure what to expect and I was abit nervous before we arrived. I must say though that our instructor Kelly was absolutely lovely and made my social anxiety go away as soon as we entered the room. Our class was making pralines and a French chocolate (that I won't butcher the name of aha.) Each group had a melting pot and we learnt about tempering chocolate and where chocolate comes from ect to begin with. We then made the shells , our French chocolate and continued on with the ganache. I've seen a few reviews saying you dont make the ganache which isn't accurate for us. We all did it together with volunteers joining in and a recipe to take home also. Overall very interesting, fun and a great learning experience. I must also add that I loved how we made hot chocolate whilst we waited for our chocolates to set. We all chatted and introduced ourselves over a hot chocolate which was lovely and I felt very at ease which isn't like me with a group of people I don't know aha ! Kelly was very knowledgeable and so kind, it was my birthday and they even sang happy birthday to me ! Couldn't recommend this enough !

    Very much a fun event led by Nour who was informative about everything chocolate. She was well prepared, very clear on her instructions & answered all questions while keeping the group moving in a festive atmosphere. You get to take home what you make (if the chocolates get that far!) in a beautiful gold box & Nour makes hot chocolate for everyone from the leftovers! Thank you so much Nour for a lovely experience!
