Great time! Martin was a great guide. It's a wonderful way to see the city. The focus isn't just chocolate and beer, it's a city tour with a trip to one of Bruges' amazing chocolate shops where you get a small demo and a chance to buy chocolates (which we happily did!) and to one of their breweries (where we ended the tour with a really tasty beer!) Great way to spend a few hours in Bruges!

Lots of history,, lighter on the beer and chocolate.

Our guide Martin was great and very knowledgeable about Bruges, and walked us around the town for 3.5 hours! But the History, Beer and Chocolate name was a little misleading. We spent about two+ hours on history of the city but only stopped at one chocolate shop and one brewery for one beer (which was chosen for us). We thought it would be amore of a tasting / sipping tour or at least history of beer and chocolate in Bruges or Belgium. Lots of strolling which is great unless you have mobility issues or kids in tow.

Great tour, the guide Nicolas was really knowledgable on the history of the city, chocolates and beer. He was very charismatic and the historical portion of the tour was delivered in a fun and interesting way. We visited a chocolate shop which had delicious tasters but no hard sell to buy their products. But we couldn't resist once we had tried one. The brewery tour was informative and we had a lovely taster with Nicolas who shared some of his recommendations on where to eat and drink in the city. Fab little tour to get lots of info on Brugge in a few of hours.

My husband and I took this Best of Bruges tour on Christmas Eve (12/24/19) and we had a wonderful time getting to know more about the city. Our guide, Nicholas, was an excellent storyteller, and we learned so much about the history, culture, and people of Bruges. Our tour lasted approximately four hours and consisted of a chocolate demonstration/tasting, a sampling at one of the local breweries, and a crash course on the city's long and fascinating history. Nicholas walked us all over the historic district and delivered background information on major sites, buildings, and events in an entertaining and engaging way. We highly recommend this tour (and Nicholas) to anyone visiting Bruges!

Bruges Walking, Chocolate and Beer Tour

Great tour! We met our guide in Grote Markt and he showed us all of the sites. You could tell how proud he is of his heritage. Loved that he loves medieval history and was able to bring the history of Bruges/ Brugge to life. He even showed us pictures at points on the tour to illustrate the story. The tour lasted about 4 hours. Great day! Thank you!

We found this tour very informative, and a great introduction to Bruges. We enjoyed the chocolate and beer, too! Most importantly, though, it was our tour guide, Lavina, who made it worth it. She is a native and has an obvious solid base of knowledge about the area's history and a great love of the city. She was very positive, energetic, funny and sweet. She kept us laughing the whole time. We loved spending the morning with her!

The tour covers the history, chocolate, and beer, great overview of the city in 4 hours! The guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Kept us moving but lots of time for pictures, We did the bus tour too, but that moves way too fast and the little bits of knowledge our guide gave us really made the place come alive for us
