Great mix of fun, drinks and food!
Amber_H, Nov 2022
The tour guide, Sebastian, was very candid and had a lot of great stories about Brussels. The first stop at the Brussels Town Hall had the whole group laughing hysterically and it set the tone for the whole tour. It seemed like the whole group was having a great time the whole tour and the food was all spectacular! He also had many recommendations for the rest of the day which were all excellent. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Great value

Sebastian was an amazing guide! He was very thoughtful with his recommendations and gave us a great history. All the food was amazing and am so happy we were still in season for the mussels!

It was a wonderful tour, Mark was a great guide. We walked and had chocolates, beer, amazing lunch with beer compliments, waffles and ended in the oldest bar in Brussels. We also saw all parts of Brussels along the way. I would highly recommend this tour.

Brussels walking food tour-excelkent
Bonnie_M, Aug 2022
Tour leader was great. Loved walking tour, chocolate shops, waggle stop. Good was excellent at headquarters but would have preferred at restaurants as we had done in Paris. The headquarters did not give local flair of Brussels cafes and restaurants

So much food
Joanna_D, July 2022
Such a great tour. It was much more than a food tasting, it was a multiple course meal in addition to chocolates, waffles and site seeing. Highly recommend!

Mark was engaging and fantastic as our tour guide. Everything about the tour was wonderful! From the chocolates to the waffles, it is a must-do!
Great way to tour and have an extended lunch at the same time!
Dave_F, May 2022
Patrick, our tour guide, gave us great insight to the tastes and sights of Brugge. He and his wife even prepared a couple of the tastings themselves! Had the best hot chocolate ever as agreed by all 4 of us. Would highly recommend Patrick and this tour to anyone.
Great food and beer with an entertaining guide
Dawn_B, May 2022
Marc was a good guide and the food on the tour was excellent. There are several stops, most of them seated (unusual from our experience), and the food and beer were of very good quality and authentic to Belgium. We spent time in the Grand Place and surrounding streets and Marc provided a bit of history and learnings along with some humor and anecdotes.
Ok
Angela_K, May 2022
Best part of the tour was visiting with others in the tour group. Did not learn much about the city but it did meet all the requirements of beer, chocolate and Belgian food.
Response from Host, May 2022
Hello Angela, I think the walking tour was more then 2 hours and you did not learn anything about the city? Can you please check the other reviews about this tour?
Walking tour - Perfect

John_P, Apr 2022
Enjoyed all the flavours of Belgium cuisine while touring parts of the city that are a little off the beaten track. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Not worth the hype or money
Cleo_M, Apr 2022
Would not recommend this tour, it's over priced for what you get. The description states beer tasting with the food. We got one beer - that's not a tasting. We expected (and so did the rest of the tour group) to go to different restaurants for the different food experiences when it was just at the tour office. Our tour guide told us about a place that makes the best waffles but then proceeds to take us to a different place for waffles - this honestly made no sense. The description also states chocolate tasting at the most exclusive shops (plural) we went to one and tasted one chocolate. Our tour guide also just kept walking far ahead of us not really paying attention to the group and just kept telling us not to lose her, which eventually some people did lose her and she just carried on walking and they had to find their own way back to the group. The food was not great, we had better Belgian food at different restaurants in Brussels All in all really disappointing.
Response from Host, Apr 2022
Waw! What a review... So that means that all those ohter people who gave 5 stars were liying? I wonder if you have been on the tour? What tour office? We went to two restaurants. Do you want the VAT number to verify? And what about the guide? Maybe she was annoyed with the fact that you were 15 minutes late and holding up the whole group
Wonderful tour with wonderful people
Lisa_H, Oct 2021
This was such a fun experience! Marc was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The stops for chocolate, beer, waffle, and macarons were all delicious, as was the lunch Sabrina (who is an absolute gem!) cooked for us in their restaurant. You get a discount at the chocolate shops if you buy more to take home too, which was great. Highly recommend!
Tour guide was great but...
Lynnsee_M, Oct 2021
Tour guide was great but nothing like the description. Was hoping for a tasting of brussles. Not just a heavy lunch in their restaurant..
Response from Host, Nov 2021
Hello Lynnse, What do you mean with heavy lunch? Tasting of brussles? I mean you had mussels, vol au vent with stoemp and thuna with peaches, and for dessert a Brussels Waffle. These are Brussels or belgian food dishes. And you had beer and chocolate. So what was the problem?
Do this tour!
Scott_R, Sept 2021
The host was very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful time. The meal they served was delicious and the chef was fabulous!
Go hungry!
Nadine_F, July 2021
Marc was a great tour guide. Casual and very informative. Very patient with answering all the questions. Got a good background of Belgium. Read the previous reviews so knew not to eat before the tour! Wise advice. We went to one of the oldest chocolate shops for a taste of chocolate. Then after some walking and Belgium facts, we ended at Marc's place of business (walking tours of Brussels) where we dined on a three course lunch. Amazing food and way too much food! Along with food, beer was paired with the courses. Thank goodness after dining we continued with the tour and much needed walking. The only disappointment was no waffle. No history of the waffle. Belgium is known for the waffle. We all wanted a waffle! The waffle was suppose to be part of the tour. Except for no waffle, I would highly recommend this tour. But be sure to understand this is not a typical food tour with tastings from different restaurants. But the food we had was wonderful!!
