A wonderful evening!

This show was recommended by another website, and I’m so glad we listened. The food was quite good, the waitstaff was very attentive and professional. The performers were exceptional! I know that this show is intended for tourists, but they did a very nice job showcasing Argentinian culture. The show includes dancing, singing, and music-only numbers. In addition to tango, there are several numbers that showcase the dancing/music from other parts of the country (Andean culture). Overall, a wonderful evening! Gratuities are not included in the ticket price. Make sure you bring cash to leave a nice tip at the end of the show.

Was a lovely evening and very well organised. Took a few minutes to get to our table but once that was done the evening and food flowed and then transport back was organised very well.

The dancers were beautiful, incredible moves, you could see the passion in the dancing. The music was perfect as well as the songs. The meal was delicious and filling. Transportation to and from the venue was seamless. We would highly recommend to everyone. If you had one opportunity to see a show, this is the one to see!!

The entire experience was SO professional. The food was exquisite and delivered with flair by wait staff ever were passionate and most professional. The show itself took us by surprise. We were not expecting the level of skill, passion, intensity and JOY. My wife spent a considerable time crying at the SPECTACLE. Thank you so much for providing such a magnificent package. .

The driver never picked us up at our hotel - we waited for 30 minutes - no call to say they were running late . So we went to dinner . Apparently according to the hotel concierge he showed up at 20:05 instead of 19:30 I expect a full refund

Fun night out

We had an absolute blast. We had no problems being picked up or dropped off from our hotel. We got to sit very close to the stage and our drinks had free refills. We opted not to go for dinner, so I can't speak to that aspect of it, but we felt everything was great and we really enjoyed the show.

The show was fantastic! The dancers, singers, musicians, all performers were just amazing and deserve 10 stars!!! I give 4 stars though because of the organization. It was good that the organizers sent a reminder the day before. I booked show only as I had other plans that day, and the ticket said the show starts at 21.30, so did the reminder I received the day before. I arrived to the place 21.20 and was told that I couldn't enter as I came too early. I found it strange how 10 minutes could be too early. Then it turned out the show was scheduled at 22.00, so I was 40 min early. The day after the organizers explained they do it on purpose so that people are not late. I think it's better to warn in advance about the rules instead of making people wait and waste time. The show itself was exceptional. Totally recommend it!!!

Service was good: Pickup on time, staff at the restaurant friendly and welcoming, meal and wait staff were excellent. Restaurant clean and comfortable. Show itself was technically ok, but no passion. So the main purpose of the tour was a bit underwhelming.

It was a good show, but did not worth' this amount of money. Furthermore I found it very rude and inappropriate of the serving staff talking loud to one another during the show. Also the serving and walking around is very annoying and distracting.

Watching Tango dancers move with such ease during their performances. Also, service was excellent from the transportation pick up at the hotel to the waiters at our table. My wife and I really enjoyed the food and wine.,Good times.

The show and food was great but we paid extra for transport to/from the show. Our hotel was only 1.4 miles away. Our driver picked us up ~40 minutes late and it took about an hour to get home. In the future we would likely take a cab.

Inaccurate Description and a Long Wait

To start off I want to say that the show was great. I recommend this show to anyone wanting to see a Tango/Peru culture show. The bad parts were the transfer and the inaccurate description of timing of this event. The show as supposed to start at 9:30pm. I chose this show because we are not night owls and this was the earliest show I could find. We didn't add the optional dinner because we eat earlier than 9:00pm. The ticket called for a 9:00pm transfer for a 9:30pm show. The driver came at 8:30 so we rushed to get out the door so he wouldn't have to wait. We arrived at the show before 9:00pm and it was there we found out the show didn't start until 10:00. We were the last to arrive at the show because everyone else had been seated to eat. (The food looked good) There was nothing for us to do for an hour but wait around, nothing in the neighborhood to see. There was another show going on in the theater below the one we were scheduled for. If I had known there was an earlier show I would have gone to that one. We watched part of that show from the lobby while we waited for our show to start. Our show was over an hour long and when we started to see acts we had seen earlier we decided to leave to avoid the mass rush at the door. The transfers were waiting outside but wouldn't take us back to the hotel until the show was over. We were afraid there would be chaos with 100's of people looking for transfers so we wound up taking a taxi back to the hotel. So, the show was good but the organization of this tour was not.

Entertaining show but expensive

The show was entertaining and fun. We opted for the dinner before the show, which turned it into a very expensive night. The waiter asked for a US$15 per person tip and actually followed us into the show to ask again for the tip. We did not take any cash with us as we had prepaid the full experience. Next time I would choose to eat elsewhere and book the show only.

Upon entering the building, we were surrounded by an atmosphere at the same time rustic and elegant, decorated with authentic tango and gaucho memorabilia. Heavy wooden stairs led us down to the brick-lined cellar that is the “La Ventana” venue. We arrived early so had the best seats in the house, one row back from the front of the stage. The tantalizing dinner choices ranged from a very large and tender “bife de chorizo” steak to fish to vegetarian options, along with appetizers, desserts and a bottle of wine per couple to enjoy during the entire evening. I cannot imagine a better show: excellent musicians played with lively precision while equally talented dancers tangoed their way across the stage and singers belted their country’s signature songs. Then the “boleadoras” performer amazed us with his rhythmic feats. It was an unforgettable night and a must to experience true Argentine culture. Bravo, La Ventana!

The Ventana show was full. Very few empty seats. The staff did a great job, very efficient getting everyone seated and food served. We both had the chorizo de beef and it was cooked as ordered. And it was a good portion of meat. The entertainment was great and fun to see the audience involved and having fun. Thanks to all the staff for a really fun night.
