    Cairns in the wet season

    It was a great package, the motel we stayed at in the package was very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, we had 3 days of solid rain while we were there, so one of our tours had to be cancelled (but that is no one's fault) The other two tours went ahead and they were very well planned. They would have been outstanding if we did not have torrential rain.

    The guides for each activity were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and on time. The tours were nice and well organized. The reef experience included breakfast sandwiches and a hot lunch of chicken, steak, and sausage, along with several different kinds of salads. The Daintree day was very nice but a bit long. Suggest cutting out Port Douglas and maybe one other stop. The ice cream stop was fantastic! The Karunda tour was very well executed and the driver was fun and helpful. The Coral Tree Inn was less than desirable. The staff there seemed to be very occupied with the computer and giving information seemed to be an unwelcome distraction. The eggs at breakfast were very runny. The microwaved a plate of them for me. Charging $3 for a pool towel is not cool. Also, requiring a Facebook checkin to get wireless access is not cool. Otherwise the tour was great. The price seemed to be very reasonable for what I got. Thank you.

    The combination of the three best attractions in Cairns under the guidance of professionals who knew their business gave us a glimpse of the most colourful corals a look at Cape Tribulation and the crocodiles in the region and the pleasure of the train and ropeway ride through and above the rainforest. Too bad that the windows of the minibus to Port Douglas were not clean enough for good pictures... But those of the train could be opened!

    The 3 days of trips were amazing and I wouldnt change a thing, the guide for the Daintree and Cape Trib tour was fabulous! The hotel was just ok, we had problems with shower pressure. The transfers could be improved, we had to wait nearly an hour for the pick up from airport and the driver was very grumpy....think he is in the wrong job and wish we had just got a taxi. The other transfers were mixed some good drivers and some ok. I would definitely recommend the trips but would probably recommend arranging own hotel and transport to/from hotel.....Cairns is small enough to not really need transfers.

    Once again a really fine tour and all arrangements were perfect. No real complaints...we saw everything we wanted to see. Kudos on the reef tour!
