Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
Please bring hat, towel, swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses and AU$20 per person to pay for the Reef Tax on checkin

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the great barrier reef yesterday. The water was clear, and water like glass. We saw a stingray, white tipped shark, black tipped shark, and a turtle. Great trip!

The crew was amazing…. accommodating, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I got very sick on board due to rough seas and torrential rain. They tended to me a others immediately and never let me feel awkward. I did recover and snorkeled Beautiful! They all love what they do and their energy is contagious. Have already recommended to others. I loved that we got to do 2 stops

Everything about this excursion was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they were organized and I felt safe during the dives. The food was average, but that's not what I went on the trip for. Do this, it's worth it!! Take advantage of staff showing you the cool stuff on the reef!!

Avoid this company if coming from a cruise ship. You will pay a lot for absolutely nothing.

We were cruise ship passengers and made it known in our booking request well in advance of the event. The ship arrived well in time and was docked meters from the meeting point. Australian immigration held up the ship passengers so no one could walk off. Diver's Den must be aware of this possibility which is unexpected by a tourist. When we went to the shop, they said "We never accept cruise ship passengers and Viator should not have booked you." (Passing the buck.) They should have read the comments section of the booking request and refused our booking if this is the case instead of blaming Viator. It should also be stated that they do not take cruise ship passengers in their advertising information. Belinda, with boss present, said they would honor a refund if requested within 24 hours which was done, and then they refused to honor their word. That is not honorable behavior from a business that you must trust since they take you to a potentially dangerous situation. They are happy to take your money and provide no services, nor store credit, nor goods and will look you in the eye and lie directly to your face. Cruise ship passengers are a great way to boost the bottom line without expending effort. Viator will advertise for a company that has figured out how to get this additional easy income from unsuspecting tourists and will not help you. This was an expensive lesson.

Fabulous day exploring Hastings and Saxon reefs. Terrific crew, amazing day out on GBR for a family of 2 snorkellers and a certified junior open water scuba diver!

Staff were super friendly and very patient with everyone on the boat. Food was great with lots of variety.

The crew members are so friendly. Some of them speak Japanese and Chinese, so don't worry if you don't understand the English briefing. BTW, you may need to prepare some seasickness pills in case you feel uncomfortable on the ship.

서양인들 위주이고 한국인은 저희 부부만 있었고 일본인 부부 한커플 보았습니다. 픽업장소에서 b finger 를 못찾아서 두리번 거리고 있으니 (a finger 를 바라보고 섰을때 왼쪽으로 가야함) 안내해주시는 분이 와서 도와주셨어요. 거의 풀북이라 앉을자리가 남는데가 없으니 일찍 자리 잡으시고 선미쪽 3열은 프리다이버들 설명해줄때 비켜줘야하니 가쪽에 앉으시거나 카페 바로앞열 좋을것같아요~ 카페가 바라보는 방향으로 배가 가니까 정방향 역방향 생각하시면 됩니다. 밥먹으러 들어올때 몸 말리고 들어와야해서 비치타올이나 수건 챙겨오세요! 선크림은 배안에 대왕용량으로 있고 큰 물수조 있으니 물통가져와서 떠놓고 마시면 편할것같아요 (물론 컵도 있음). 투어는 엄청 만족했고 물고기랑 형형색색의 살아있는 산호가 많아요! 거북이를 못본게 아쉽네요. 직원들도 엄청 친절하고 강추드립니다!
