Didn't meet expectations, but still a nice day

I had chosen this tour as my one and only chance to see the Great Barrier Reef. I was very disappointed, as I saw very few fish and the corals I saw were underwhelming. The snorkeling was self-guided. I had asked for the best areas to snorkel, but it was hard for staff to describe the best spots from the dive shop. I think I may have just been in poor spots. It is possible there were more impressive areas to snorkel. I was able to add the glass bottom boat ride as well. It was a nice ride, but short (only 30m). Again, limited species of fish and corals visible. The Seawalker portion of the tour was very short (approximately 20m), as other reviews had mentioned. I was disappointed in the Seawalker experience. You essentially wait for all participants to descend into the water and literally walk maybe 100 metres underwater. Unfortunately didn't see too many types of fish or coral. Overall, I would say that it didn't meet expectations, but was still a nice day.

The tour would have been a 5-star but it rained heavily & windy the whole day. Visibility underwater was poor due to weather condition. I didn’t get to snorkel for safety reasons, stormy day. Also we got sick no shelter to avoid getting wet.

A very good experience, be early to board the boat so you can get a good view of the surroundings. Seawalker was amazing, you have to look around a lot to see all the things hiding in the coral. Down there around 20 mins

It was a unique and great experience to be able to walk on the seabed, very exciting. I felt but scary at the beginning. Once in the water I loved so much to see the corals, wished I could had touched them. Fully understood looking without touching is the best way to protect the corals. It was too short

Would recommend the experience to all. I'm not strong swimmer and can be very nerves but staff put me at ease. Totally professional take care of you from start to finish. Walking on sea and seeing corals and fish was amazing without getting hair wet. Only reason I gave 4 stars all pictures cost 30 bucks each or 160 for 2 people video., considering the event is not cheap thunk they could give at least one pic per couple as it would be sent by email. Thats the only disappointment.

We had a fabulous day but unfortunately Mr Wilmot was recommended to not do the Sea Walker activity. We submitted a confirmation of request for part refund at the Great Adventures office in Cairns (GA Confirmation 40532952/Ref 912472216/20Sep22) and haven't heard anything back about the refund?

The time under the water was a lot shorter than anticipated. The photos were incredibly overpriced and no shots with couples underwater. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Cannot fault them however the overall experience was poor value for money.
